SSSS CHAPTER 25!

Dean looked into the living room disgusted.
Dean- Who ever called it puppy love should be shot. It should be called slug love.
Sam- Dean, Alex likes...Slug? *Confused*
Dean- *Even more confused* Alex likes slugs?
Sam- What? No. Nevermind. Look, Dean. Alex likes him and trusts him. I think we should give the guy a chance.
Dean- Dude. He's the one that got her pregnant. I have every right as an acting older brother, to hate him. No matter how nice he is, it won't take back what he did to her.
Sam- You're not her brother.
Dean- No no no. I said acting. Acting older brother, Sam.
Sam- Whatever. Just try to be nice.
Dean- I can try, but if they make any more slug love-
Sam- Seriously Dean. Slug?
Dean- I don't know. It was the most disturbing thing that I could come up with at the time. It's five in the morning, cut me a little slack here, will ya?
Kyle pushed Alex into the kitchen by Sam and Dean.
Kyle- I'm sorry for breaking in like that. I was afraid that her dad was home, and didn't want to knock on the door, so I decided to climb through the window. Where is your dad any ways? I thought he leaves for work at six? *Checking his watch*
Sam and Dean watched as Alex went silent for a minute. They knew this was going to be it. The moment that she finally told them how she really felt. The moment she would break down and cry. The moment when everything will hit her hard in the face. The moment when reality-
Alex- He's working out of town on a business trip, and won't be back for a couple of months.
Sam and Dean were shocked at what they had just witnessed. Alex lied to her boyfriend, the man who was her baby's father. She lied to him with a straight face. No emotion whatsoever. Sure Dean had hid his feelings, but he never went into denial or lied about it. Dean couldn't let this slide by un-noticed, he had to say something.
Dean- He's what?
Alex- On a business trip in Florida to be exact.
Dean- Really? Are you sure about that?
Alex- Yes.
Dean- Alex I think it's about time that-
Sam- Excuse us. *Stepping between them* Dean, we need to talk.
As Sam pulled Dean into the spare bedroom, Dean shot a glare at Kyle before going in.
Kyle- Why did your cousin just glare at me?
Alex- He's a little over protective.
Kyle- So I've noticed.

Sam- What do you think you're doing?
Dean- She's lying Sam. I'm not just gonna sit back and watch her torture herself with denial!
Sam- Oh really? I didn't notice. You can't just push her to share her feelings! Believe me, I know! Remember what happend when I pushed you? You decked me in the face, you got violent! You released your rage through hunting and got careless!
Dean- I'm not going to let her get like that! She's different than me! She's not a hunter!
Sam- So you don't think she can inflict damage or pain to anyone else or herself? You remember what she did to Danny? She killed him. I was there, I saw her punching him. H*** I even had to pull her away. She's only human Dean. You can't control her emotions.
Dean turned toward the window and looked at the sun rise. He ran his hand down his face, then turned toward Sam.
Dean- I know. She's a reck, Sam. I want her to talk to us. I feel like she doesn't trust us. It's like we're strangers or something.
Sam- Just give her some time. In the meantime, don't you have boyfriend to interogate?
Dean- That's right. Oh this going to be fun. *Grinning*
Sam followed Dean into the kitchen.
Dean- So, you're the boyfriend. I've heard a lot about you.
Kyle- Really? What has Alex told you about me? Nothing embarassing I hope.
Dean- Nothing embarassing. Just something that left an impression of what kind of guy you are. So tell me Kyle, how good are you with chil-
Alex- What does everyone want for breakfast? I didn't mean to interrupt, but I'm starv- really hungry.
The word "starving" was still something that made Alex feel uncomfortable. It didn't help that both Sam and Dean noticed this and were smiling at her uneasy state.
Kyle- Do you still have that pancake mix?
Alex- Top cabinet, furthest to the right.
Kyle- Alright. Why don't you go rest and I'll make us all some pancakes. It's the least I could do for waking everyone up.
Dean- *Mumbling* D*** striaght it is.
Kyle got started on breakfast, while Dean, Sam, and Alex were sitting in the living room.
Dean- So how about you tell us about your boyfriend now. And you don't even have to worry about me dropping you this time.
Sam- He alomst dropped you when you were shrunk?
Dean- No and you're changing the subject.
Alex- What do you want to know about...Is that my diary? *Pointing to the coffee table*
Sam and Dean looked at the book nervously, then at eachother. Dean quickly looked at Alex and responded confidently.
Dean- I don't know, is it?
Alex- Do you have no respect for my privacy? I mean seriously. I've been under your watch for the last fourty-eight hours, and you still need to get to know me better? Without my permission might I add.
Sam- We're sorry. It'll never happen-
Alex- *Shocked* We're? You read my diary too?
Sam- Well...You didn't say anything else about the guy. You kinda left us no choice.
Alex- You know Sam. I expected this from Dean, but not you. You dissapoint me.
Dean- You know if you're looking for dissapointment, you might want to look a mirror, Alex
Alex- What are you talking about?
Dean- You were planning on telling Kyle, weren't you? About the baby I mean?
Alex- You're kidding, right?
Dean caught Sam giving him a disapproving look and shaking his head.
Dean- No, Alex, i'm not. He is the father right?
Alex hung her head.
Dean- Right?
Sam- Dean, stop.
Dean- I don't think so Sam. He deserves to know the truth, and she needs to stop lying.
Alex- *Sarcastically* Because you're such a poster child for truth?
Dean smirked.
Dean- So are you going to tell him or not?
Alex paused for a moment before responding.
Alex- Yes. When the time is right. Not now. Not when he just got here.
Dean gave her a stern "If you don't I will" look.
Alex sighed.
