SSSS CHAPTER 4!
"It's about time you got back!" Sam yelled so Dean could hear him. "That dog's been scratching at the door the whole time you were gone! I think it needs to be let out."
Dean walked over to the nightstand, where Sam was sitting next to his cell phone. Once he reached the dresser, he reached into his pocket and lightly grabbed Alex. He slowly brought her down to Sam, and waited for him to take her, before he ran into the bathroom causing the dog to bark.
At first Sam was confused, then remembered the conversation that he had with Dean. He shook his head and rested Alex down on the table. By the look on her face, Sam could tell that she was sleeping peacefully.
This was something that didn't happen that often. Most of the time she was having nightmares and waking up screaming in the middle of the night. After asking her the entire first week what the nightmares were about and getting no answer, they finally gave up. They begged for her to tell them, but she could not do it. Sometimes she would end up crying, so after a while they just left her alone.
Sam was brought out of his thoughts, when the bathroom door opened. Dean quickly squeezed through the door and closed it, so the dog wouldn't run out.
"Well that was awkward." Dean walked over to his coffee and took a large gulp. "Did Sleeping Beauty wake up yet?"
"No. Not yet." Sam watched as Dean took another sip of his coffee. "So do you feel better now?"
Smiling, Dean swallowed his coffee. "Yes, I do, as a matter 'o fact."
"Good. Now you can let the dog out." Sam grinned.
"And you call me bossy." Dean said as he set his coffee back down on the table. He took a deep breath before he went back to the bathroom door. In one swift move, he quickly opened the door and grabbed the dog. When he came out, Sam saw that he was carrying the dog tucked under his left arm. The dog was backwards with his head facing behind him, while his tail was wagging in front of him.
Sam tilted his head and raised an eyebrow. "You've never held a dog before, have you?"
Ignoring Sam's comment, Dean says, "I'm gonna go pick up a few things at the store too. I'll be back later."
"Hey! Bring the laptop over here." Thinking that he could do some research, since it would be a while before Dean could do it himself.
Dean looked at the laptop on the table, then over to Sam. It was over twice as tall as he was. "Um...okay." He walked over to the table and picked the laptop up with one hand. Then he walked back over to Sam and Alex, and put it down on the bed.
First he had to clear space for the computer, then he would put it on the dresser. He took off the phone and clock radio, setting them down on his bed. The space was just big enough for the laptop.
"Are you sure you can work that thing?" Dean asked in a serious tone, worried that Sam might not be able to handle it at his size. "I mean, a cell phone is one thing, but a laptop?"
"It won't be easy, but I think I can manage." Sam said, taking the challenge to work the computer.
"Alright. Just makin' sure." Dean started walking towards the door, then stopped and looked at Sam. "Break the news lightly to Alex will ya?" Winking at Sam, Dean left the motel room and started doing research.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Dean was done shopping, and had the dog on a red leash. They were walking through a park back to the motel. His hands were full, carrying bags from the store. The walk was short, but it suddenly got a little interesting as Dean saw Sandy walking up to him.
"Hi...?" She dragged it out, giving him the hint that she wanted to know his name.
"Dean." He said with his winning smile.
"Hi, Dean. So is that your dog or are you watching it for some one?" She knelt down and started petting the beagle on his head.
Her question brought Dean back to reality. "Oh. Yeah, he's mine."
"Does he have a name?" Sandy stood up and Laughed.
Dean was thinking of possible dog names and said the first that came to mind, when he looked at the dog. "Snoopy."
Sandy started to flirt with Dean and giggle at his sarcastic comments. They had forgotten all about the dog until it was a little too late. Sandy was about to ask Dean out, but her leg suddenly got wet.
"Oh my god! Your dog peed on me!" Sandy screamed as she shook her leg.
"Bad Snoopy!" Dean tried to apologize to get things back on track. "I'm so sorry about that."
Sandy crossed her arms and glared at him. "Is sorry going to buy me new shoes? Because mine are ruined, thanks to your MUTT!" She stormed off, leaving Dean and Snoopy alone.
Calling to her, Dean yelled, "I said I was sorry!" He sighed and looked at the dog. "Trying to mark your territory huh?"
The dog cocked his head to the side, not understanding what Dean had said.
Dean shook his head, "Come on Snoopy. Lets go home to Linus and Lucy."
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
At the motel Sam was looking online for some sort of answer to all of this. The size of the keys made the search go extra slow. He was as frustrated as it was, between the slow progress and the Impala scratching the walls of the drawer. Sometimes he would accidentally hit the same key twice or loose his balance and fall, pressing multiple keys. He couldn't take it anymore and let out his anger towards the Impala.
"Shut up, Impala!" Sam growled as he stood up.
"Hmm?" Alex moaned as she started to wake up.
Sam quickly turned around and saw Alex stirring awake. "Alex?" He got off the laptop and walked over to Alex and sat down next to her.
Alex let out a yawn and looked at Sam confused. "Sam?" She asked groggily. "What time is it?"
"It's seven forty-five." Sam had checked the clock on the laptop when he heard Alex wake up.
Alex blinked and squinted, looking up at Sam. "When you said that you'd check up on me early in the morning, I didn't think it would be this early."
"I know, but we need to talk about something." Sam gave Alex a hand to help her sit up.
She was supporting herself with her arms behind her. "Talk about wha-" She stopped when she noticed that she was no longer in her bed. "Why am I sleeping on the floor...?"
"Um, your not." Sam said uncomfortably, trying to figure out the easiest way to break the news to Alex. "We kinda..." Sam saw Alex's eyes locked on the giant laptop, sitting in front of them. He watched as her eyes went wide with confusion and her mouth was open from shock. "...Shrunk." Sam finished and noticed that Alex was still not moving.
"It's...We're...I...How?" She was now leaning forward, no longer resting on her arms.
"Alex. Just try to calm down. I need to explain something to you." Sam said, while resting a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
Alex still wasn't moving, with her mouth hanging open. She didn't even look at Sam when he spoke. Confusion was written all over her face, while she was starring at the laptop.
Sam closed her mouth for her with the back of his hand. "Alex?" She didn't say anything, so he adjusted himself so he was facing her. "Alex, I need you to listen to me. Everything is going to be all right."
Since she still didn't answer him, he grabbed her face with both hands and made her face him. He placed his hands on her shoulders, looked her in the eye and started to talk slowly. "Every. Thing. Is. Going. To. Be. Oh. Kay."
"B-but." Alex stuttered as she pointed to the laptop, then looked at Sam as if he failed to notice. "This stuffs not supposed to be real."
"I hate to say it, but it is." Sam half smiled, trying to calm her down a bit.
"Where's Dean?" Alex looked around the large nightstand, trying to ignore the giant lamp that was behind her.
"He went out to get coffee and breakfast." He knew where this was going.
Before Sam could explain, Alex asked, "How?" She didn't understand how he was able to get food, because she thought that he was the same size as them.
Just then they both heard a noise at the door. The knob slowly turned, then the door opened.

SSSS CHAPTER 3!
The room was silent, keeping Sam in his own thoughts. He started thinking that if something supernatural was to attack him, that he didn't have any weapons that were his size. Even though he wanted a weapon, he was hoping that he wouldn't be this way too long where he'd need one. His thoughts were interrupted, by the door unlocking and opening. He saw Dean walking in and carrying a dog in his arms.
"We have another problem." Dean said as he walked over to his bed, where he left Sam.
Sam looked at the dog. "Is that Alex?"
"I wouldn't be surprised." Dean adjusted the dog in his arms, then got a funny look on his face.
"What's wrong?" Sam wrinkled his eyebrows in confusion.
"This isn't Alex." Dean said confidently.
Getting up from his spot on the bed, Sam asked, "How can you tell?"
"Well it's got something that girls don't have." Dean explained.
Realizing what Dean meant, Sam was half relieved and half disturbed, because he caught a glimpse of what Dean was talking about. "Oh."
"Unless there's something that Alex is keeping from us, this isn't her." Dean shook his head and tried to get the dog to stop squirming.
"Then who is it?" Wondering what a dog was doing there in the first place.
"I guess we- Wait a minute!" Dean said realizing the dog's gender.
"What?" Sam asked walking closer to the dog.
"Why was there a guy in Alex's bed?" Dean did not like the thought of Alex in bed with a guy. She was like a little sister to him.
"Maybe it was an object, like your car." Sam suggested with a shrug.
"I swear this has gotta be the weirdest thing that's ever happened to us." Dean stated as set the dog on the floor, who just ran over to the door and started scratching away at it. When he realized that he wasn't going any where, it sat down and started to whimper.
"Since that isn't Alex, you should probably go back in her room and find her." When he mentioned Alex's name, the dog ran over to him and stretched out his nose to sniff Sam, who backed away.
"I honestly have no clue what I'm gonna be looking for." Dean glared at the dog, thinking that he was some guy that tried to hook up with Alex.
"She's probably still sleeping, so check her bed."
"All I saw was the dog on her bed." Dean paused when he looked at Sam again. "Unless she ended up at a few inches tall, like you."
"That would make sen-Hey! I'm taller than just a few inches!" Sam said, offended by Dean's remark.
"You know what? I don't have time for this." Dean looked at his watch as his stomach growled. "I'm gonna go find Alex, and take her with me to get coffee and a few doughnuts. When I get back I'm going to measure you with a ruler and prove you wrong."
"Whatever, just lock the dog up in the bathroom before you leave." The dog was now wondering around the room, sniffing random objects. Sam was just glad that it wasn't looking at him any more.
"You're so demanding." Dean picked up the dog and set in the bathroom. After he locked the dog up and left their room, Dean walked the few feet to Alex's door and got out her key, yet again. He unlocked her door and slowly walked in, closing the door behind him.
The room was quiet and the sun was the only light in the room. There was a ray of sunlight shining on the bed by Alex's pillow. Something told Dean that he should look there first. Well that, and the fact that there was a small lump near the pillow. Now that he thought about it, that's where the dog was nudging its nose when he came in earlier.
"If she's not there, then she pulled an invisible woman." Dean whispered to himself then saw the lump slightly move. "And possibly have rats in her bed."
When he reached the bed, he hesitantly pulled back the covers. Right where the lump had been, he found Alex. She was curled up in a little ball that could easily fit in the palm of his hand. He also noticed that she was still wearing the clothes she had on the day before, her blue t-shirt and jean shorts. Her hair was even still pulled back into the same pony tail.
Dean whispered as he leaned in closer, "Alex? You awake?"
Alex didn't respond or move. Dean checked his left jacket pocket, before he gently picked her up. He didn't want to disturb her leg, so he slowly lowered her in his jacket pocket. Since he was going to pick up coffee, he couldn't just walk around with her in his hand. Being that it was summer time, Dean had on his light weight jacket on, which was green and had two breast pockets.
Then he left the room and walked to the nearest coffee shop. Dean ordered one coffee for him and Sam, a small cup of orange juice for Alex and a small box of doughnuts.
Sam and Dean found out that Alex wasn't a coffee person the day after her birthday. They handed her a cup, and she ended up spitting it out because she got her tongue burned. That made Dean question if they really were related.
Dean was watching the young woman with long dark hair named Sandy, get his coffee ready for him, while he was waiting. She would throw him a smile when ever she looked his way, which was often. When he grinned back at her, he got a phone call from Sam.
"Yeah?" Dean questioned more out of confusion that his brother was able to call him in his current condition.
"Hey, how's Alex?"
"What?" Dean suddenly remembered that he was carrying Alex in his pocket. "Oh. Yeah, she's fine."
Sam rolled his eyes. "You forgot about her, didn't you?"
"No." Dean said, trying to sound convincing.
"You should check up on her at least and see how her leg is doing."
"Yeah well, if I start talking to myself people are gonna get suspicious." Dean threw another grin at the woman behind the counter, when she smiled at him.
"Then go to the bathroom."
Dean paused to think about what Sam just said. "And that's supposed to help the situation how exactly?"
"Dude! Talk to her in the bathroom." Sam explained after he realized that Dean misunderstood him. "Don't go when she's right there in your pocket!"
"Oh. Good idea." Dean started heading to the restrooms. "Wait."
"What?"
"What if I really do have to use the bathroom?" Dean asked, walking to the back of the coffee shop.
"Hold it! You don't want to traumatize her!" Sam thought about what would happen if Alex were to wake up from any sudden noises. He did not want her to try and explain that one to a therapist.
Dean started defending himself. "It's not like she'd see-"
"Dean, do NOT finish that sentence!" Sam warned with a tone that made him sound like he was 6'4" again.
"I was going to say 'anything.' Give me some credit, man." Since Sam didn't reply right away, Dean decided to ask him something. "Hey Sam?"
Sam sighed and said, "No. You are not going to go to the bathroom-"
"That's not what I was gonna ask." Dean pushed the swinging door open, entering the men's restroom. "I wanted to know how were you able to call me with your phone?"
"It wasn't that hard, Dean. I can still do things at this size...And I don't have a flip phone." Sam said as he looked at the giant cell phone that he was standing in front of.
Dean checked to make sure the stalls were all empty, which they were. He glanced at the door to make sure that nobody would come in, then he checked up on Alex. She was still asleep, snuggled up to him. He figured that his body heat was probably keeping her comfortable, so she didn't wake up.
"She's still sleeping." He said as he let go of the pocket lip, letting the flap fall down in place.
"Okay. I guess I'll see ya when you get back." Sam was about to press the end button, when he heard Dean speak up.
"Hey, wait." Dean stopped him.
"What?"
Now that he knew she was asleep, he decided to try and ask, "Since she's still sleeping, can I-"
"NO!" Sam said firmly.
Dean's jaw tightened as he glared at nothing in particular. "I'll remember this the next time we're on the road and you have to make a pit stop."
Dean hung up the phone and left the bathroom, to get his order. When he walked up to the counter, the woman gave him his order and winked at him. When he looked at the receipt, there was a phone number under her name. He looked back and and gave her a toothy grin, then walked out of the store. Dean was walking back home grinning from ear to ear, forgetting about the weird situation back at his motel room.

SSSS CHAPTER 2!
"What the hell?" Sam said to himself as he looked further down.
The sheets were about twenty feet in front of him and the rest of the bed spread down even further. He slowly turned his head around to find his pillow that he realized was missing too. The pillow was behind him alright, but it wasn't exactly the same as before. It was bigger. Much bigger. It was about the size of a two-car garage.
Sam quickly got to his feet and started looking around the room. Everything was further away and taller than him. Now if something is taller than Sam, you know something is wrong. While looking around, he saw Dean's bed to his right. Dean was sound asleep, laying on his back, while facing the window. Compared to Sam, Dean was a giant. He didn't really want Dean to see him like this, because he knew that he wouldn't hear the end of all the short jokes. Then again, he did need Dean's help to get back to normal, so he had no choice.
"DEAN!" Sam yelled as he cupped his hands around his mouth.
Dean didn't move, so Sam got closer to the edge of the bed and tried again.
"DEAN!" Sam glared when he still didn't get an answer.
He decided the only way to get his brother to wake up, would be to get closer to him. So he climbed up and on top of his pillow, and from there he jumped onto the nightstand. He walked passed the lamp, telephone, and then the alarm clock.
Standing near the edge, he yelled again. "DEAN!"
Nothing.
Sam was starting to get irritated that his brother wasn't waking up. He took a deep breath and climbed on the pillow, which was the one Dean was using. Once on top he carefully balanced himself and attempted to wake Dean up again.
"DEAN!" Sam yelled in anger, almost forgetting why he wanted to wake Dean up in the first place.
Dean finally rolled his head over, facing Sam. His eyes where still shut, but he was somewhat awake in a groggy state of mind. Unknown to him, the little hearts were still on his face, from last night.
"What?" Dean mumbled.
"Dean, get up! We have a serious problem!" Sam said walking closer to his brother's face.
With his eyes still closed, Dean said, "Coffee first, dude."
After Dean not waking up until the fourth time Sam called him, he couldn't take it any more.
"DEAN!" Sam punched the bridge of Dean's nose.
Dean flipped his eyes open from the small sting on his nose, and saw a tiny Sam standing two inches in front of his face. "Whoa!" Dean jerked backwards in a half sit up and slipped off the bed.
The sudden movement caused Sam to fall off the pillow and onto the mattress. When he landed, he heard a thud followed by a load groan come from the side of the bed. Sam stood up and folded his arms, waiting for Dean to get up.
Confused, Dean slowly sits up and looks over at Sam. "You know, normally I would pinch my arm to see if this was a dream. However; I just hit my head on the wall." Dean said as he rubbed the back of his head. "Oh, and I got a tiny bump on my nose from a certain little brother of mine."
"So, now that your awake and realize that this isn't a dream, let's figure out how this happened and reverse it." Sam said getting straight to business.
Dean stood up, not realizing that he was actually towering over Sam. "Like I said before, 'coffee first.' "
"Fine! Whatever. Just hurry up alright!" Sam was irritated by all of this and just wanted to get back to normal.
Dean went over to his bag to get out his clothes, then heads into the bathroom. He takes off his shirt, then pulls a clean one on over his head. Once it's down passed his eyes, he hesitates as he sees something in the mirror. Realizing what was on his face, he quickly pulls his shirt down and runs out of the bathroom.
"Is this supposed to be funny?" Dean glared at Sam as he pointed to his face.
Sam grinned realizing how long it took his brother to notice. "It was last night."
"I'm starting to think that I should leave you like that. Besides, I like being the taller one." Dean said as he looked down at Sam.
Dean goes back into the bathroom and finishes changing his clothes, then he starts to wash off his face. The washing soon turns into scrubbing to get the stubborn marker off. He finally came out of the bathroom with a red face.
"Dude, my face is killing me." He said with a pained and irritated look on his face, as he massaged his cheek.
Sam laughed at Dean's bright red face, which wasn't really a good idea for somebody his size.
Dean gets a sock out of his bag and rolls it into a ball. He turns towards Sam and throws it, sending Sam flying backwards a little.
"Next time it won't be a clean one." Dean pointed to Sam as a warning.
After standing up and brushing his pants off, Sam yelled so Dean could hear. "Nice! Real mature Dean!" Sam gave his brother a glare that would have been more intimidating if he was taller then beer a can.
Ignoring his brother's comment, Dean walked outside to his car to go get coffee. He shut the motel room door behind him, leaving Sam alone in the massive room. Sam was about to sit down and make himself comfortable, but stopped when he heard the door open up.
Dean came back in and closed the door. There was something in his hand, but Sam couldn't get a good look at what it was.
"Dude, this is so not funny." Dean said looking more upset then ever.
"Really?" Sam started to say sarcastically. "'Cause I think it's hilarious!"
"No. I mean this." Dean said, showing Sam a black gerbil that was in his hand."
After a moment of staring at the fuzzy, black gerbil, Sam said, "A gerbil isn't funny. You're right."
"It's the Impala, Sam!" Dean snapped. "What the hell happened to my car?!"
With his ears covers and wincing from the loud noise, Sam yelled back. "There's no reason to yell!"
While taking a mental note, Dean just glared at him.
"Hey! Don't look at me! I'm just as confused as you are!" Sam said as he stood up and held his arms out to show Dean that things were out of control.
Dean walked over to the the nightstand and opens the drawer. He carefully placed the gerbil in it and left it open a crack. It may look like a disposable pet, but to Dean it was still his baby.
"So, now I have to buy coffee and gerbil food." Dean said thinking out loud and quietly wondering how long this will all last.
"Hey!" Sam said, realizing that he wasn't the only one that changed over night. "Do you think Alex is alright?"
Dean threw his hands in the air. "I don't know. Anythings possible at this point." After his hands rested to his sides, he sighed. "I'll go check up on her. You stay here."
Sam looked around from his spot on the bed. "Like I can go anywhere. It's not like I can take the Impala out for a drive."
"No," Dean said in thought. "But you could probably ride on it like it's a horse." The image of a tiny Sam, ridding a black gerbil and supporting a cowboy hat was enough to make Dean laugh.
Dean flashed Sam his cocky grin, before leaving the room. He walked to over to the door on his left and knocked on it twice. When he didn't get a response he reached into his pocket and got out the spare key to Alex's room. When he put the key into the lock and heard a whimper coming from inside the room. Unlocking the door, he walks in expecting to see Alex crying on the bed, but instead he stops in his tracks.
"Alex?" Dean asked raising an eyebrow.
Sitting on Alex's bed was a black and white beagle. It stopped whimpering when Dean came into the room, and started wagging its tail. Dean looked into the bathroom to make sure it wasn't some sort of prank that Alex was playing on him. When he came out he noticed the dog was gently prodding the bedsheets with its snout. The dog looked up at Dean with big watery eyes and whimpered again.
"Oh boy. This day just keeps getting weirder and weirder, and I still haven't had any coffee." Dean opened the door, expecting it to follow him, but it just layed down and poked at the sheets again. Seeing that the dog wasn't going to move on its own, Dean sighed. "Alex (If that is you in there) we'll figure this all out. I promise." Dean smiled as the dog walked over to him. He picked it up and left the room with the dog in his hands.

SOMETHING SIMPLE, SOMETHING STRANGE! CHAPTER 1!
The Impala came cruising around the corner driving as fast at full speed. Everything was a blur as it zipped by the open windows. Alex was in pain as she steered the car, and needed to let Dean know what was going on. She couldn't tell if she was getting closer to him, because she wasn't sure where he was.
Black Hawk Motel, Wisconsin, Dells
Dean decided that they needed a break from hunting, after the last hunt. They had helped Alex when she was on bed rest for a month, but now she could move in her chair and actually talk normal again.
Sam was out getting dinner for them, while Dean was sitting on the bed watching TV. His legs were crossed as he was sitting up on his bed. The lame horror movie that was playing was disappointing to Dean. He kept yelling at the characters and told them to "Salt and burn the bones!" He was about to yell again, but heard the familiar sound of the Impala. He muted the TV and threw his legs over the side of the bed, and looked around. The car sounded like it wasn't slowing down and getting closer.
Alex was driving blind and didn't know when to stop. She had to guess when, but it was too late. The car hit a wall, sending the rear end into the air, falling down and landing parallel to the wall. Alex had stopped accelerating, when she heard the bang.
"Hey!" Dean yelled as he looked down at his foot. "Alex! Where did you learn to drive?" He picked up the toy Impala and ripped off a sticky note.
"Shut up!" Alex yelled from the bathroom. "I couldn't see where I was going!"
"Who taught you how to shave?!" Dean shook his head after reading the note.
"Can you get me the band aides or what?"
"Yeah." He went over to his bag to get the band aides. "Hey, remind me to take you shopping for a new razor."
"I have no objections." Alex stated. "It's not like I do it on purpose."
"That's good to know." He said as he walked over to the bathroom door, that was slightly ajar.
"You know, you don't have to stay with me all the time, Dean." Alex was sitting on the side of bathtub and turned around to face Dean, when she heard him come in. She was wearing a blue t-shirt with a pair of shorts, and her hair was pulled up into a pony tail.
"Uh, yeah I do." Dean said as if it was an obvious answer. "You were almost killed by a-"
"A psycho, that was possessed by a demon." Alex finished for him and continued on. "And if I took off my necklace (which happens to be made of iron) like Lurancy wanted, then she would have possessed me to kill Danny. But that was too risky, because she could have wanted to stay inside my body. So I guess it's a good thing that I was wearing an iron ring around my neck, because spirits and demons can't cross over them. Yeah, I know Dean. You and Sam have explained this too me so many times in the past month."
Dean nodded his head, glad that she remembered everything. "So, do you know how to protect yourself? Can you fight off a spirit?"
"I never said I could. A girl could use some privacy, that's all." She held out her hand as some water splashed onto her small cut, reminding her what she had called him for.
Dean tossed her the box. "You and me both. I can't even remember the last time I had a room to myself."
"Wasn't that last night, when it was Sam's turn to sleep in my room?" Alex asked laughing at him.
"Trust me. One night isn't enough." He said as he walked out of the bathroom.
There was a knock on the door, so Dean went to answer it. He opened the door to let Sam in, who had his arms filled with a pizza box and a couple of drinks. There were two beers for him and Dean, and a root beer for Alex.
Dean grabbed the pizza box from Sam and walked over to the table. "Alex! Foods here!"
"I'll be out in a minute!"
Sam set the food on the table, and it was a matter of seconds before Dean had a slice in his mouth. Sam took a swig of his beer and waited for Alex to come out, before he started eating.
Dean was about to take another bite, but felt something hit his leg. He looked down to see the "mini Impala", as Alex called it, hitting his leg repeatedly.
"Dude." Dean said looking over at Alex, who was sitting in her wheel chair, holding the remote for the mini Impala.
"Maybe next time, you'll wait for me before you start eating." Alex grinned heartily.
Sam laughed, as Dean glared at her while he picked up the mini Impala. Alex wheeled over to the table and grabbed a slice of pizza. She was parked to the left of Sam and to the right of Dean. Sam handed the root beer to Alex and she opened it with a pop.
Moments later, over half of the pizza was gone, leaving three slices left. Sam grabbed a slice of pizza and noticed a small bandage on Alex's leg. "Did you cut yourself shaving again?" Sam asked in disbelief.
"It was just a small, little, tiny nick." Alex said as she held her thumb and forefinger up so they barely touched each other.
"And yet, you needed a band aide." Dean took in a large bite of his pizza.
Sighing, Sam dropped the slice back in the box and stood up. "That's it. Come on Dean, we're leaving."
"I'm still eating." Dean complained with a mouth full.
Alex was confused by Sam's sudden determination. "Where are we going?"
"We're taking you shopping for a new razor." Sam said as he pulled Alex's chair away from the table.
"You know, I've been with plenty of girls that-" Dean began say as he followed them out the door.
"Dean," Alex held up her hand to stop him. "I beg you not to finish that sentence."
Dean sighed and rolled his eyes at her assumption...Not that she would be far off really. "All I'm trying to say is that it's not normal."
"And hunting Casper the friendly ghost is?" She asked as Sam helped her into the back seat of the Impala.
"Sometimes Casper isn't that friendly." Sam smirked before he closed her door.
They drove to the store and bought Alex a better razor. On the way back to the motel, Alex was able to convince Sam and Dean to let her sleep in her room alone for the night.
When they pulled up to the motel, Dean got out his spare key to Alex's room to get the rest of the pizza and beer.
Meanwhile; Sam was helping Alex out of the back seat and into her wheel chair. When she got into the chair, Sam sensed something move past him. He quickly turned around, but didn't see anything. Although there was nothing, Alex and Sam started coughing and sneezing a little. There was something in the air, but it wasn't sulfur. Sam waved his hands in the air and offered to help Alex to her room, but she only rejected it. She wanted to try and be independent again after the accident, but half the times she said 'No' they ended up having to help her any ways.
Alex headed to her room and Sam went into his own. They weren't really sure what to make of what had just happened, and they were suddenly too tired to care. Sam was getting his night clothes out of his bag, while Dean was sitting on his bed, watching TV. There was nothing good on, so he turned it off and glanced over at Sam. He was about to lay down when he noticed something all over Sam. This was too good of an opportunity for Dean to pass up, so he had to say something. He crossed his arms arms and put a huge grin on his face.
"Sam is there something you'd like to tell me?" He asked in a fake curiosity, Sam would have noticed the grin if he had been looking.
"Like what?" Sam was looking in his bag for his sweat pants that he wore to bed.
"Like, why you got red glitter all over you."
Sam shot a confused look over to Dean. "What?!" The only response he got was Dean pointing to his face in circles.
Sam ran into the bathroom with his clothes. When he looked in the mirror, he saw a bunch of little red, shiny spots. He turned on the warm water and grabbed a wash cloth to start cleaning off his face.
"I knew that you were always in touch with your feminine side, Sammy, but this is just a Little too girly for me." Dean said as he pulled back the blankets on his bed.
Sam just groaned in response as he scrubbed his face.
"You know, I think that your the real reason why people think we're gay." Dean added as he crawled into his bed.
"Dean!" Sam yelled for his brother to shut up.
"Well, I'm tired." Dean said as he pulled up the covers. "Good night, oh great glitter goddess."
When Sam came out of the bathroom, Dean was sleeping peacefully in bed. Sam needed to get him back, so he grabbed a permanent marker out of Dean's bag. He walked over to his brother's bed and drew little hearts on his face. When Sam was done, he flopped down in bed and turned off the lamp that was sitting on the nightstand. Once he was settled in, he fell into a deep sleep. The next morning Sam was going to wake up and look at the world with a new perspective on life. The question is: will he like it?

TPONTP PART 2 CHAPTER 13!
Just as Sam entered the room, he saw Dean falling backwards towards him. He tried to get out of the way, but it was too late. Both Winchester boys were on the floor, leaving Sam pinned under the chair. He had to wait for Dean to get up, so he could crawl out.
Dean- Well good morning to you too Alex. *Rubbing his forehead*
Sam stood up rubbing the backs of his legs. They were still sore from being cut up in the barn, and now this had to happen.
Sam- *Realizing Alex was awake* Oh. Hey, Alex. *Turning to Dean* Dean, I told you not to play around with her wheelchair.
Dean- Come on, dude! Are you telling me that you've never had the urge to do a wheely in a wheelchair before?
Sam- No. *Giving Dean an odd look*
Dean- *Disappointed* Sometimes I don't get you.
Sam- Whatever. I guess it's a good thing I didn't bring in the cak-
Sam and Dean looked at eachother and quickly turned to Alex.
Sam and Dean- Happy Birthday!
She wasn't quite sure how to say thank you, so she gave them two thumbs up.
Sam- Oh! I got something for that! *Reaching into his back pocket and pulling out a pad and pen* Here.
Alex- *Writting a note and holding it up* Thanks.
Sam- It was nothing.
Dean- Yeah. All he had to do was go into a drawer and pull it out. Please tell me that's not your actual present for her.
Sam- *Sounding a little insulted* No! I got her something else.
Dean- Oh really?
Sam reached into his pocket and pulled out a small rectangular box in red wrapping paper. He handed the box over to Alex, and she slowly opened it. She finished taking off the paper to reveal a black box. Alex opened it up and quickly closed it, like box was holding the plague.
Sam- *Sitting on the bed* What's wrong? You don't like it?
Alex quickly shook her head and a tear ran down her cheek. Sam looked over at Dean, who was just as confused as him. When he turned back, Alex threw her arms around him to give him a hug.
Sam- I take it that you like it then?
Alex- *Nodding her head*
Sam patted her back, but she didn't let go, so he turned to Dean.
Dean- Hey! No chick flick moments.
Sam and Alex laughed, and she let go of him. She quickly wrote another note and held it up.
Alex- Thank you.
Sam- It was nothing. I saw it this morning at a local store and thought of you. Do you want me to help you put it on?
Alex- *Nodding her head*
Sam opended the box back up and pulled out a braclet. It had a small chain with a white cresent moon charm connected in the middle. He wrapped it around Alex's left wrist and hooked the clasp together.
Dean- *Sarcastically* Oooo. A braclet. How can I compete with that?
Dean put a grin on his face and walked out of the room. Sam and Alex exchanged confused glances. They turned back to the door and waited for Dean to come back in. After a few minutes, he walked in carrying two boxes. One could fit in your pocket and the other was the size of a shoe box. He walked over to the bed and set the boxes down next to Alex, then he grabbed a chair to sit in.
Dean- Go ahead. Open it.
Alex took the paper off of the little box first, and was very confused.
Alex- *Holding up another note* Sticky notes?
Sam- You bought her something from Office Max?
Dean- It goes with the other present. Which she probably should have opened up first.
Alex ripped the paper off of one side of the box and started laughing, which made Dean laugh a little.
Sam- What's so funny?
Alex finished taking the paper off and turned the box around to face Sam.
Sam- Dean. I swear your a geek when it comes to your car. I can't believe you bought her a remote comtrolled toy Impala. Did you really buy this for her?
Dean- *Insulted* Of course I did! I figured since she was on bed rest that it'd give her something to do.
Sam- And the sticky notes?
Dean- See. Now this is where I got really clever. I also figured that she'd be stuck in this room and we can't constantly be here, right?
Sam- Yeah?
Dean- Well with this she can write a note, stick it to the car, and drive it out to us without ever leaving the bed.
Alex- *Holding up a new note* That's so thoughtful. Thank you.
Dean- Your welcome. Hey. We got some cake for you too. I wasn't sure what flavor you like, so I bought one of each.
Sam- You what?!
Dean- Yeah. They're in the fridge.
Sam- I still don't get why you bought two.
Dean- They were having a sale...*Pausing* ...and the cashier was hot.
Alex- *Clearing her throat*
Sam and Dean turned and saw Alex holding up her notepad.
Alex- Thanks again.
Dean- Don't mention it. So, are you hungry?
Alex- *Nodding her head*
Dean- *Standing up and walking to the door* What kinda cake do you like?
Sam- Maybe she should eat breakfast first.
Dean- Oh yeah. That's what she wants to do on her birthday. Follow rules. Man, what kind of person are you?
Sam- A responsible one.
Alex- I'll take chocholate.
Sam- *Seeing that Alex took the tape off* Your only supposed to take that off when you eat.
Alex- *Talking out of the left side of her mouth* But I am going to eat, so it's ok.
Dean- *Laughing* I'll go get the cakes.
Sam- *Standing up* Need help?
Dean- Yeah.
They left the room and came back a while later with cakes and eating utensils. Sam set his stuff on the bed, while he brought over a table for them. They both put the cakes down on the table. That's when Alex noticed what was on the cake.
Alex- Spongebob and Barbie? You do know that I turned twenty and not two, right?
Dean- Like I said before; they were on sale.
They sung her 'Happy Birthday', then Sam cut Alex and Dean a piece of chocholate and himself a vanilla. Dean was going to make a joke about Sam eating a pink cake, but then he remembered that he was eating a cake with a sponge on it. They started eating the cake and drank some milk with it.
Dean took the Barbie and Spongebob toys that were on the cake and put them into the toy Impala. Alex grabbed a sticky note and wrote something on it, then put it onto the rear bumper of the car. Sam and Dean read the note and started laughing. The note read "Just Married!" and it had bells and ribbons drawn on it. Dean laughed so hard, that he spit a little cake on Sam's shirt.
Sam- Dude! Do you mind? Next time say it, don't spay it.
Dean- Fine.
Dean stuck his finger into the Barbie frosting and smeared it into Sam's hair. Alex dropped her jaw in shock and watched as Sam slowly turned around. Dean was grinning from ear to ear, untill he got a face full of Spongebob's square pants.
Dean- *Wiping frosting out of his eyes* That's nice Sam. Really it is. Now let me repay you.
He grabbed a hand full of barbie and shoved it down Sam's shirt and patted onto his chest to smear it in.
Sam- That's it!
Sam was about to throw more cake at Dean, but Alex interupted him.
Alex- Hey! No food fights near the bed! I have to sleep in this thing for a month. I'd like it to be clean. So do you think that you can take this to the kitchen?
Sam and Dean looked at eachother, and Dean ran out of the room with Sam on his tail. There was a loud bang and some yelling coming from the kitchen.
Alex- *Smiling* This is going to be an interesting month.

TPONTP PART 2 CHAPTER 12!
Sam sat down in a chair next to her bed and Dean took a seat on her bed. They noticed that she was pale. She looked tired, but it was like she couldn't sleep...or didn't want to sleep.
Sam- *Sympathetically* We heard about what happend to your dad. I'm so sorry.
Dean- We're here if you ever want to talk about it.
Alex- *Slowly nodding her head*
Dean- *Changing the subject* So, are the pain meds kickin' in yet?
Alex- *Nodding her head again*
Dean- Wow. Your so interesting to talk to, Alex.
Dean tried using his sarcasm to cheer Alex up, but she looked dead inside. There was no expression on her face. Dean was wondering if that's what he looked like when Sam died.
Sam- The doctor said that you could go home tonight, but your going to be on bed rest. He thinks that you should stay with us at the cabin for a month, untill your leg gets better,
Dean- Yeah. He doesn't want you to move that leg at all. Are you ready to leave tonight?
Alex- *Thinking about it for a minute, then nodding her head*
Sam- Alright. We'll take you back in a little bit.
After they all left the hospital, Sam and Dean drove Alex back to the cabin. They arrived at the house at 11:56pm. Once they got her into Bobby's old room, Sam took Dean aside. They were talking softly so Alex couldn't over hear them.
Sam- I showed the picture to Bobby.
Dean- And?
Sam- He says it's a curse thats used by some demons.
Dean- What kinda curse?
Sam- He doesn't know the detailes, but It basically makes her a magnet for evil. Anyone around is in danger. Including us.
Dean- But her dad didn't die, right away. And Cody and Brad are still alive.
Sam- Bobby also said that the necklace she was wearing protects her for three years.
Dean- Let me guess. Her three years are up at midnight?
Sam- Yep. Right when she turns twenty.
Dean- That's one h*** of a birthday present.
Sam- Dean. I think we should take her with us.
Dean- What? Your not serious?
Sam- Yes, I'm serious. It's the best thing for her.
Dean- Are kidding me?! She could get killed! You said so yourself! She's a magnet for evil, and we just happen to be around it all the time!
Sam- We know how to protect her, Dean! If we leave her here alone, she won't last a day!
Dean- It's not right to drag her into this! She deserves a normal life!
Sam- And we don't?
Dean- Don't even go there! You know I wanted you to live a normal life.
Sam- That's my point, Dean! I tried normal and look what happend! *Pausing* Look. Dean, whether you like it or not, she's in danger. If we leave now.......she's gonna die.
Dean- *Letting out a heavy sigh* Fine. She'll come with us, but she stays in the motel rooms. I'm not taking her on any hunts with us.
Sam- Fine.
Dean- But once we find a way to break the curse, I'm sending her back home.
Sam- By then she'd probably know, just as much as we do!
Dean- Yeah! Then she'd probably know how to protect herself too!
Sam- I'm still trying to figure out how to get you out of that deal you made! Getting you out of that deal comes first. I'm not leaving her like this, but I'm not giving up on you either.
Dean- For once, I would like some one in our family to live a full, normal, and happy life.
Sam- I know you do, but I also know that you want her to be safe. Which is why we should get ready, because we have three minutes until midnight.
Sam started lining the doors and windows with salt, while Dean was getting their weapons ready. They let Alex fall asleep, while they prepared for the worst. Dean didn't want Alex to know about what they did for a living. Heck, they didn't even know what she did for a living.
Sam- Are you sure this will work?
Dean- Yep.
Sam- What about Alex? Don't you think we should warn her?
Dean- No. It'll be better if she didn't know.
Sam- What if she wakes up?
Dean- She won't.
Sam- What do you...You didn't.
Dean- Give her a sleeping pill? Yes, I did.
Sam- Way to earn her trust, Dean!
Dean- Hey. At least we don't have to worry about her waking up. *Sam glares at him* Go take off her necklace. It's almost midnight. The necklace may not be affective any more, but the iron still is.
Sam- What about you?
Dean- I'll be in there in a little bit. I have to get a few things, from the trunk.
Dean went out to get some holy water and his dad's journal. He looked at his watch, which read 12:00am.
Sam- DEAN! GET IN HERE!
Dean quickly closed the trunk and ran inside the cabin. There was muffled screaming coming from Alex's room. He ran down the small hall way and swung open the door.
Dean- What's going on?
Alex was tied down to the bed and trying to break free. Sam was standing next to the bed salting up the last window. Dean looked up at the ceiling, to see the devil's trap.
Sam- It's Meg.
Dean- Wow. That was fast. *Walking over to Alex's body* So, what. You couldn't wait to see me?
Meg put Alex's hand in a fist leaving the middle finger sticking out. Even though it was her broken finger, Dean was positive that she did it on purpose. Dean tossed the journal over to Sam.
Dean- Lets get this over with.
