Sam- *confused* Wait a minute. I saw a girl with reddish-brown hair. Alex has blonde.
Dean- Not any more.
Sam- What?
Dean- She dyed it the other day, with Cody.
Sam- Well I'm almost there, so it's not going to happen.
Dean- it's probably a trap, so watch out.
Sam hung up with Dean, and put his full attention to the road. He was getting closer to his destination, and saving Alex. The image of Alex getting stabbed and the blood stained sheets, were burned into his mind. Sam couldn't let that happen to her. She was not just a victim, she was his family. They barely knew eachother, but that didn't matter. The thought of not being able to fight back and all of that fear she was going through, had Sam on the edge of his seat. He knew the feeling of being tied up, but Alex never had the training like they did. Does she know how to fight? Is she capable of an exscape? Would he get there on time? These questions kept running through his mind. He tried to come up with answers, but his vision was preventing him any hope that she could escape.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Danny- *Talking to Alex* Listen. I've got some things to do. So why don't you just take a nap. It's going to be a long day.
Danny walked away and Alex started rubbing the rope again. She couldn't tell if she was getting very far, but she wasn't going to give up. She heard footsteps and stopped. Danny came back and pulled her tape off. He shoved a pill in her mouth and quickly put the tape back on. Then he covered her face with the white sheet. Alex didn't swallow the pill.
After Danny left, Alex went back to the rope. At the same time, she was trying to get the tape off of her mouth to spit out the pill. The rope wasn't getting very far, but she did manage to create a tiny opening in the tape. She used her toungue to push the pill into it. The pill was stuck to the tape, but at least it wasn't in her mouth any more. The slow struggle to break free continued.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Dean and Bobby found the address to the Markus' house. They drove down the narrow dirt road for ten minutes and pulled into a gravel drive-way. The entire ride there Dean was thinking about Sam and Alex. Bobby could tell that his mind was else-where, and hoped that it wouldn't get in the way of the hunt.
Bobby- Dean. I need you to focus on this case. I know your family's in danger, but I can't do this alone.
Dean- *Sighing* Yeah, I know. I'm just worried about Sam's vision. I mean....if Alex is tied up...
Bobby- Don't worry about it. I'm sure Sam will get there on time.
They got out of the truck and started observing the house.
Dean- Maybe we should split up. I'll check out the garage and shed.
Bobby went inside the small cabin. There was a small kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom. Bobby started looking in the bedroom.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Dean walked into the garage, to the left of the house. Although it was noon, it was pretty dark in there so he took out flashlight. He started searching for anything that would give him a clue as to what was keeping markus around. There wasn't much in it, except for a boat. Dean climbed aboard the boat and started searching. It could be anything, so Dean was getting frustrated.
Dean- I think Sam got the easy job.
There was movement behind one of the seats. Dean got out his shot gun and slowly walked over to it. Quickly turning around the chair, Dean aimed his gun. There was mouse chewing on something, then it saw Dean and ran away.
Dean- Oh yeah. Sam definatly got the better job.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Sam recognized the area and started to slow down. The barn was coming into view, so he slowed down even more. He didn't want to be spotted, so he parked the truck in a wooded area next to the barn. He grabbed a few things, before he got out of the truck. Sam slowly and cautiously walked towards the old barn. There was only one vehicle outside, which meant that it was probably just Danny inside with Alex. Sam crept up to the side of the barn and peered through a window. He saw exactly what was in his vision; bodies covered in white sheets on tables, along the walls. Now he had to figure out which one was Alex. He heard a noise outside by a shed, so he went around to the back of barn to find an enterence.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Alex was still working at the rope and would stop every time she heard a noise. She didn't realize how close she was to breaking free. The rope was starting to loosen, when she heard a noise. Stopping imediatly, not knowing what was going on around her.
Alex- Please don't be Danny. Maybe it's Sam. If not Sam, then a mouse. Anything but Danny!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Sam found another window, and looked around the room. There was no sign of Danny anywhere, so he climbed through the window. He had a gun ready, but knew that it wouldn't do much to a demon. He started looking for the spot that was in his dream, but everything looked the same. The chains and tools hanging off the walls and rafters of the barn, were everywhere. Sam went around a small storage compartment and stopped dead in his tracks. Right there in front of him and holding a knife, was Danny. Sam had his gun aimed at Danny, but it was too late. The knife plunged down into the white sheet and was now stained with blood. Sam saw the redish brown hair hanging down the side of the table.
Sam- NOOOOOO!
Sam was still holding the gun and aiming at Danny.
Danny- Come on Sammy. I'd think you of all people would know that a gun won't work on me.
Now filled with rage, Sam pulled the trigger to the gun multiple times.
Sam- You right!
Danny was hit, but it wasn't a bullett. Smoke started coming after the intense pain. She fell to her knees, confused and angry.
Sam- Squirt gun filled with holy water. Seventy-five cents at any gas station.
He pulled the trigger again, when Danny started to make a move for him.
Danny fell back to the ground screaming, then raised his head towards the ceiling. Smoke came out of his mouth and the demon disapeared. Sam thought he was in the clear and went to check on Alex.
Danny- It's too late. She's gone. *Holding a knife in his hand*
Sam- *Confused* Danny what are doing?
Danny- What I should have done in the first place, when that little b**** told my secret!
Danny ran after Sam with the knife in his hand.
It was at that moment, when Sam had wished he brought a real gun with him.

TPONTP PART 2 CHAPTER 7!
Dean froze as he heard Danny's voice on the other end of the line.
Dean- *In a stern voice* Where's Alex?
Danny- Oh princess is right here, waiting for you.
Dean- Let me talk to her!
Danny- She's not talking. Her lips are sealed.
Dean- What do you want from her?!
Danny- It's not her that I want, Dean!
Dean- Then let her go!
Danny- I don't think so. You see.....I'm just having too much fun right now to let her go.
Dean- Don't you dare touch her you demonic son of a b****!
Danny- Oh yeah? What are you going to do about it?
He held the phone next to Alex's mouth and punched her in the face.
Dean could hear a slap followed by a muffled cry of pain.
Dean- ALEX?! It's ok! Sam's coming for you!
Alex tried to tell Dean that it was all a trap, but it didn't work.
Dean- Alex!? Hold on! We'll-
Danny- You won't do anything! You make one wrong move and she's dead!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Sam was now three hours away and listening to the radio. The song interupted with a brief news bulletin.
Radio host- We just got an update about the crash that took place in Watseka, Illinois. The truck driver was never found, so they're telling people to be on the look out for him. He could possibly be armed and dangrous. They have a theory that the truck driver kidnapped the victim, because she mysteriously disappeared from the hospital. The police say that they also found sulfur all over-
Sam turned off the radio. Now he knew for sure that Alex was in danger. He ignored all of the speed limit signs and went as fast as he could go.
Sam- I hate it when Dean's right.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Dean- *Slamming his hand on the rail of the deck* I'm sick of all these games! What exactly do you want?!
Danny- You killed my brother and my father, Dean.
Dean- Meg.
Danny- Wow. Your never going to let that go, are you?
Dean- You never answered my question! What do you want?!
Danny- I want you to be here by midnight. Bring Sam with you, and if you try ANYTHING.......Alex dies.
Dean- Midnight? Why?
Danny- I think you know why.
*Click*
Dean hung up his phone and ran his hand through his hair. While looking over the lake, he was trying to come up with a plan. Bobby broke the silence and called from inside the house.
Bobby- Dean! We have a problem.
Dean- *Under his breath* Now what?
Dean quickly turned around and walked back inside the house.
Bobby- Markus was cremated.
Dean- That's just great. Can anything else go wrong?
Bobby- I'm guessing that phone call didn't go to well.
Dean explained the whole conversation to Bobby. They both knew that Bobby couldn't handle the case on his own. It would take him forever to find out what's keeping Markus' spirit around. So Dean decided to call up Sam and tell him what he found out.
Sam- Great. So Meg's back and wants us to meet up with her at midnight.
Dean- Yeah and I can't leave Bobby, so it's up to you.
Sam- I think I have a plan. It won't be easy, but I think it'll work.
Dean- Alright, but be careful.
Sam- Hey, did you call Cody?
Dean- Yeah. I asked her if they knew anyone with redish-brown hair, and she said that Alex did. *Suddenly realizing something* Hey Sam. I gotta go.
Sam- Why? What's wrong?
Dean- *Talking fast* I'm not sure. I'll call ya back.
Sam- *Confused* Ok.
Dean dialed a number and was waiting for an answer. It didn't take too long.
Cody- Hello?
Dean- Cody, it's Dean.
Cody- Hey Dean. What's up?
Dean- When I called before and asked you if you knew anyone with redish-brown hair, you said Alex did.
Cody- Yeah. I helped her color it.
Dean- So Alex has redish-brown hair?
Cody- Yeah, that's what I tried to tell you before. I told her to let me know how it turned out, but I havn't gotten a call from her today. Is everything ok?
Dean- Honestly? I'm not sure, but I'll let ya know.
Dean hung up and called Sam back.

TPONTP PART 2 CHAPTER 6!
Alex- Killed my parents?.........He killed my mother too?!
Alex was filled with even more rage, but it wasn't like she could punch the guy. Let alone get up and run away. She wanted so bad to call for help, and some how get saved.
Danny- Ok. I can see that your really confused about all of this, so let me explain *Laughing to himself* Not like you have a choice or anything.
Alex hated how he was teasing her and enjoying her pain. A small part of her was wishing that she'd just drop dead, so he wouldn't get the pleasure of toturing her to death.
Alex- SAM! DEAN! HELP ME! Your the only family that I have left!
Danny- Well I guess I better get comfortable.
Danny walked away to get something. Alex took this opportunitity to see if there was a way to break the rope. She tried slidding her wrists and felt tension. The rope was rubbing up against something. If she had enough time, she might be able to break free. Although the task would be difficult with a broken leg, and a broken finger will slow down the untieing process. There was footsteps coming closer, so she stopped rubbing the rope. Danny set a chair down to the right of her, and sat in it.
Danny- Alright, I'll just start fro the beggining. Now you weren't really born dead. That just doesn't make sense.
Alex- No kidding Sherlock! It's about time you got some common sense knocked into you!
Danny- After you were born, you died. You were leagaly dead for seven mintutes. I decided that it'd be best if you lived, for my plan to work. Then seventeen years later your mother figured out that you were in danger. So she gave you that necklace, then she got into that terrible car accident! *Sarcastically* Gee! I wonder what caused that accident?!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Sam had four hours left and he was already running low on gas, so he pulled over at the first gas stantion. He got out of the car and started pumping gas. As he was waiting for the tank to fill up, he was leaning against the truck. Then a car pulled up to the tank on the other side of his, and girl came out. She had long dark hair, brown eyes, a dark complection and looked like she was in her twenties. She put the pump into her car and noticed Sam.
Luisa- Hi.*Giving Sam a friendly smile*
Sam- Hi. *Noticing some lugage in her back seat* Road trip?
Luisa- *Looking at her car, then back to Sam* Yeah! Is it that obvious? *Smiling*
Sam- *Laughing* So where are you headed?
Luisa- Umm....I'm not sure yet. I just kinda go with the flow or where ever my car takes me.
Sam- Yeah, I know how that goes.
Luisa- You on a road trip too?
Sam- I was, with my brother.
Luisa- Was?
Sam- Yeah. I'm gonna go visit my cousin. She's had a string of bad luck, and I thought that I'd cheer her up.
Luisa- Aww that's so sweet of you. I wish my ex-boyfriend was like that. He's kinda the whole reason that I'm taking this road trip.
Sam- I'm sorry.
Luisa- Eh. Don't worry about it. I'll be fine.
Sam heard the pump click, letting him know that the tank was full. He walked inside to pay for his gas, but he was hungry. He hadn't eaten in eight hours, so he bought some food. After he paid for his stuff, he walked back to the truck.
Luisa- *Jokingly* So your going to leave without saying good bye?
Sam quickly turned around after he put the bag in the truck. Luisa walked over to Sam.
Sam- Oh! I'm sorry. It's just that I really should get to my cousin before...
Luisa- It's ok. I understand. Well good bye. *Walking back to her car*
Sam- Sam.
Luisa- *Turning around* Huh?
Sam- My name's Sam.
Luisa- Oh! Right! I'm luisa! *They shook hands* Well I hope everything goes alright with your cousin.
Sam- Thanks.
He got into the truck and started it up.
Sam- Bye Luisa. *Waving out the window*
Luisa- Good bye Sam.
She waved good bye as Sam drove off. He continued his long journey to Watseka, and was driving a little faster to make up for his lost time.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Alex- This moron is getting on my nerves! How long is he going to make me wait, untill he kills me?!
Danny- So, that's the story of your life Alex. You died, came back to be bait, your mom found out and died, and now we have to sit here and wait untill Sam and Dean come.
Alex- Sam and Dean are cops! This will all work out. They'll call in back-up, capture this guy, and get me outta here.
Danny- Remember that pill you took? Well you were supposed to be in the hospital for a week, and Sam and Dean had to leave town early. So I got you released and sent you home with a bottle of sleeping pills.
Alex was ignoring him and trying to think of the positive side of things. Danny noticed this and got irritated.
Danny- HEY! *Roughly grabbing her jaw* Look at me when I'm talking to you! If you think this is going to be a cake walk, your wrong! I never said anything about you being LIVE BAIT!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Dean called up Sam, after he ate some breakfast. He grabbed his phone and walked outside to the deck that was overlooking the lake. The morning sun was reflecting on the surface of the lake. He called up Sam to let him know his theory about a demon going after Alex. Sam told him to call Alex or Cody to see if they knew anyone with redish-brown hair, so he did.
Cody- Hello.

Cody- *Cheerfully* The one and only!
Dean- I'm Alex's cousin, Dean. I wanted to know, if you or Alex knew anyone with redish-brown hair.
Cody- Alex does.
Dean- Thanks.
He hung up the phone and called Alex's cell.
Cody- But that's not- *Staring at the phone after hearing the dial tone* Weird guy. Sounds cute, but weird.
The phone kept ringing, then her voicemail picked up. He redialed and the phone kept ringing. He figured that Alex was sleeping, so he was patient. Then the ringing suddenly stopped.
Danny- Hello Dean.

TPONTP PART 2 CHAPTER 5!
Alex was looking around the room confused. The early morning light shining between the old wooden boards, that made up the structure of the building. She didn't know where she was or how she got there. Panic built up inside of her and it didn't help that she couldn't move.
Alex- What's going on? Where am I? Where's my dad? How-
Danny- *Covering her mouth with his hand* Whoa-whoa-whoa-whoa-WHOA! Slow down there princess. You don't want to rip open those stitches now, do you? *Removing his hand*
Alex- *Slower and trying to hold back her anger* How did you survive? You were dead! Sam shot you!
Danny- *Smiling* I have my ways.*Winking at her*
She tried to call for help, but he put his hand back over her mouth again. She bit down on his hand as hard as she could.
Danny- *Shaking his hand* Oww! *Sarcastically* Why can't we all just get along like one big happy family? *Alex glared at him* Oh, come on Alex! Your not still mad that I killed your friends are you?
Alex- WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!
Her stitches ripped open causing her to bleed again. She could feel the cool trickle of blood running down her face, and the taste of copper in her mouth.
Alex- *Growling in pain*
Danny- I told you not to do that. Now look what happend.
He walked away and came back with a roll of duck tape. he ripped off a piece with his teeth and put it over her mouth. Alex cringed when his hand roughly brushed up against her wound.
Danny- There. That should shut you up. *She glared at him again* You really don't know, do you? I thought you were smarter than that Alex. Well at least I get the pleasure of telling you first. Oh! I forgot! You wanted to know where your dad was right? Well then...
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
After Sam left, Dean started looking up information on his laptop. Bobby walked over to the table and sat down, across from him.
Bobby- So, what's so important about this girl?
Dean- Well, like Sam was trying to say; we just found out that she's our cousin.
Bobby- *Shocked* Cousin?
Dean- Yeah. You didn't know about it?
Bobby- *Shaking his head*
Dean- Well she was being haunted by a spirit, because some pycho was killing all of her friends. Then she got into a car accident and is now hospitalized for a week.....maybe two.
Bobby- What happend to the guy?
Dean- He uh...he didn't make it. *Looking back to the computer screen* I think I found something.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Danny turned around and ripped off a white sheet that was covering the table to the right of her. Right there was her dad's lifeless body. The tears started streaming down her face. Her whole body was shaking from her external and now internal pain.
Danny- I just love this part! *Laughing*
Alex tried yanking her hands free, but the rope was too tight. She tried screaming, but it was muffled by the tape.
Danny- Aww! *Bending down next to her* Now you have nobody to care about you. Your all alone in the world. Well.....there is your cousins. *Giving her an evil grin*
Alex- *Clentching her jaw in anger, with the tears running down her face, blending with the blood*
Danny- Your probably praying that they find you and save the day! Right?!.....Well that makes two of us.
Alex- *Turning to face Danny with confusion in her watery eyes*
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Bobby- *Looking at the laptop* What is it?
Dean- *Pointing to the screen* It says here that there have been rumors floating around town. Apparently three years ago there was a guy, that went out fishing the night before the annual fishing tournament. Witnesses say that they saw a man jump into a boat and followed him, and when he came back he was wearing different clothes. The cops searched his boat, and didn't find anything.
Bobby- So, this Markus guy killed that man.
Dean- Markus died the following year on the same night. I'm thinking that the first guy's spirit killed Markus.
Bobby- And now Markus is getting his revenge by killing anyone that goes out the night of the nineth.
Dean- Exactly what I was thinking.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Danny- You see I've been waiting for this moment, for about twenty years now! You REALLY want to know the truth?! *He closed his eyes* Fine.
He opened his eyes and they were as black as the night. Alex was scared and confused, and didn't know what to do. There was nothing she could do, but she tried again to tug at the rope.
Danny- The truth is.......your bait!
Alex- *Turning to face Danny*
Danny- Ever since you were born, I've been waiting for this!
Alex- Just ignore him! Somebody will come! They will save me and get me out of here! I just need to stay calm until then.
Danny- You'd think that it was a simple task, right? Well it wasn't. In fact have you ever wondered why your mother called you, her little blessing?
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Dean was sitting there thinking about the case, then he remembered something.
Dean- Hey Bobby.
Bobby- *Looking for more information* What?
Dean- *Staring at the wall in front of him* Sulfur also leaves off traces EMF too.
Bobby- *Looking up* Yeah. So?
Dean- I thought that it was Lurancy's spirit, but she only appeared to Alex.
Bobby- I'm not following.
Dean- *Facing Bobby* We found traces of EMF at one of the vicitms houses. We thought that it was from a spirit, since we didn't find sulfur, but they probably cleaned it up.
Bobby- So do you think that this demon is the one in Sam's vision?
Dean- I don't know, but this means that Alex is in danger and we need to let Sam know about it. *Getting up to find his cell phone* I'll try to get ahold of Alex first. Maybe she knows a girl with redish-brown hair.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Danny- You were born dead, Alex!
Alex- *eyes wide* He had to be lying......Right? Nobody could really come back from the dead! He's just crazy! They did lock him up in an asylum after all!
Danny- I'm sorry, but it's true. I would have let you be, but I needed you as bait. My father had a plan for Sam, but I had this gut feeling that something would go wrong. So I made a back-up plan. I gave you life, because I knew that if his plan didn't work that they would find out about you. Then I had to kill your friends, because.....well it was just fun seeing you in pain, like right now.
Alex- *Crying and trying to find a possible way out of the rope*
Danny- *Standing up and sighing* Then of course, I had to kill your parents.

TPONTP PART 2 CHAPTER 4!
Sam heard Dean call him, then his vision came into focus. There was a large, old and abandoned barn filled with tools hanging along the walls. Rusty chains were hanging from all ends of the cieling, some were lower than others. The walls were lined with exaim tables that all had white sheets over them. The image then went to a man holding a knife in his hand. He walked over to one of the tables and raised the knife above his head. Sam could see strands of redish-brown hair hanging down the sides of the table. By the shape of the body, he could tell that it was a girl. She was squirming under the sheet, then the knife was plunged into her chest. The white sheet was now stained with blood, around the knife. The guy had short blonde hair and his eyes were black. The vision ended and reality was coming back into focus.
Dean- Sam?! Are you with me? *Waiting for a response*
Sam- *Holding his head and blinking a couple of times* Yeah...
He slowly got up and sat down on the couch. Bobby went into the kitchen to get him a glass of water. His brother was sitting in front of him on the coffee table, waiting for him to explain his vision.
Dean- So. What did you see?
Sam- There was a demon stabbing a girl with a knife. *Rubbing his head*
Dean- A demon?
Sam- Yeah. *Now resting his head in his hands*
Dean- Do you think it has to do with this case?
Bobby came back into the living room and handed the glass of water to Sam. Sam took a sip of the water and thanked Bobby.
Bobby- I thought you said we were dealing with a spirit? *Standing next to the couch*
Sam- We are. This is something different.
Bobby- Are you sure?
Sam- Positive. The victims here are all men, and that was definatly a girl in my vision.
Dean- It wasn't Alex was it?
Sam- No. The girl had redish-brown hair, and Alex has blonde hair.
Dean- Didn't you see her face?
Sam- No. She was covered with a white sheet. From the looks of it there was other people in there.
Bobby- How many?
Sam- I'm not sure. The walls of the barn were lined with tables.
Dean- You said a barn. Do you know where it is?
Sam- I think it was one that we passed on the way up here, by one of the rest stops back in Illinois.
Dean- So I was right. We should have stuck around Watseka a little longer.
Sam- To some degree......yes.
Dean- Yes, what? *Holding his hand behind his ear*
Sam- *Rolling his eyes* Yes Dean. You were right. You're smart and I'm dumb. Happy?
Dean- *Laughing* Victory is mine. We should go back and find that barn before that girl gets stabbed.
Bobby- Uhh guys? *The guys turn there heads at the same time* We still need to figure out who this spirit is and destroy his bones.
Sam- Right.
Dean- I guess we're going to have to split up then.
Sam- Alright. I'll go find the barn, and you can stay here with Bobby.
Bobby- Here *Handing Sam the keys to his truck* Take my truck.
Dean- Make sure you check up on Alex, when your done at the barn.
Sam- Alright. *Getting up* Well I better get going then.
Sam left in Bobby's truck, going back to Watseka. He decided that it was too late to call Alex or Cody, to see if they knew anyone with redish-brown hair. It was going to be a long five hour drive, by himself. He turned the radio on and listened to some music.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Alex woke up in her room, with a jolt. She quickly looked around the room for Danny, but saw nobody. The sun was shining through her small window down on her bed. She flipped the sheets off of her and noticed that she didn't have any bandages or a cast on her leg. Then she quickly touched her face, feeling around for the stitches, but didn't feel any.
Alex- It was all just a dream. *Sighing with relief*
She got up and walked towards the staires, and heard a noise in the kitchen. There was a crowbar under the wooden staires, that she grabbed before going up. She slowly and carefully climbed the staires ready to swing at what was waiting for her on the other side of the door. Using her left hand to open the door she quietly walked into the hallway. She heard somebody in the kitchen and walked close to the wall, grippy the bar tighter. Something fell, which caused Alex to Swing the crowbar into the kitchen. The mystery person wasn't close enough, so the bar went into the dry-wall.
Mystery person- Alex?! What are you doing?!
Alex froze with shock at who was standing in front of her.
Alex- M-mom?!......What....I mean...how?
Mom- Alex, are you feeling alright?
Alex- Yeah...I'm great actually. *Smiling*
Mom- *A little confused* Ok....Well are you ready for school?
Alex- What?
Mom- Mitchy, Katie and Mandy will be here any minute to pick you up.
Alex- But they're....*Noticing the confusion in her mother's eyes* Nevermind.
Alex was looking around her house, and then she looked out of the window in the living room. Everything seemed so perfect. The sun was shining and there wasn't a single cloud in the sky. The neighbors dog was laying down on the front lawn.
Mom- Alex. Before you go, I need to tell you something.
Alex- *Turning around* Sure! What is it Mom?
Her mother's lips were moving, but she couldn't hear anything. She looked sad, but Alex still couldn't hear anything and was trying so hard to listen. There was a sudden knock at the door, and her mom went to answer it.
Mom- *Calling into the living room* Alex! It's for you!
Alex's mother went back into the kitchen, while Alex went to answer the door. She opened the door expecting to see her friends, but saw a man in a mask instead. He then plunged a knife into her chest.
Alex's eyes flipped open. She tried to look around, but there was something coverng her face. There was pain all over her body, and she couldn't move. She could feel the bandages on her face and the cast on her left leg.
Alex- *Quietly* That wasn't real.
Danny- No, but this is. *Pulling the sheet off of her face* Good morning princess.
Dean- Sam?! Are you with me? *Waiting for a response*

TPONTP PART 2 CHAPTER 3!
Bobby showed Sam and Dean where their rooms were. Dean took the room closest to the kitchen and across from the rest room. Sam's room was next door and across from Bobby's. They unpacked their stuff and got straight to business. Sam, Dean, and Bobby were sitting at a square wooden table in the kitchen. Bobby had layed out all the papers and books, he had out on the table.
Bobby- You know. Normally I wouldn't be askin' for your help on this, but I've only got-
Dean- Untill sunday morning stop this thing. We know.
Bobby- I never told you guys sunday morning.
Sam- You said that the bodies were found every year on June tenth. That's sunday.
Bobby- Exactly! They were found early in the morning. I'm thinking that this thing attacked them during the night.
Dean- So your saying, that we have twenty four hours to stop what ever's going on?
Bobby- That's why I needed your guys help on this.
Sam- Looks we're not getting much sleep tonight.
Dean- Where do we start looking? I mean there's not any witnesses and what ever evidence there was it's probably gone by now.
Bobby- You can start looking at the crime scene photos, and Sam you can look on his laptop for anything that sounds remotly close to this. I'll keep looking through the obits, maybe they all had something in common.
Sam- Alright. Sounds like a plan.
Dean- *Picking up the photos* Lets get crackin'.
Bobby was sitting at the table with Sam, while Dean was sitting on the couch in the connecting living room. He had his feet resting on the table and had a pile of photos on both sides of him. The pile to his right was photos that he didn't look through. The one to his left, were photos that he already looked at. Dean put the photo in his hand, to his left and grabbed another one. The picture was of the first killing in 2004. It was of picture of the boat and a partial view of the lake. Dean noticed that there was a small shadow in the background, on the other side of the lake.
Dean- Hey Bobby. Do you have a magnifying glass?
Bobby- Yeah. I'll go get it.
Sam- *Getting up and walking over to the couch* What'd ya find?
Dean- I'll let you know in a second, but first let me go think it over with a beer.
Dean walked over to the fridge and grabbed a beer. He popped the lid off and tossed it on the table, then took a swig and walked back into the living room. Just then Bobby walked through the kitchen and into the living room. Bobby handed the magnifying glass to Dean. Dean walked back over to the couch, with Sam and Bobby standing behind him. He sat down and eaned over the table in front of the couch, holding the magnifying glass over the picture.
Dean- Well I think I know what we're dealing with.
Sam- What is it? *Leaning in closer*
Dean- *Handing the picture to Sam* Look on the peir across the lake.
Sam- Huh.
Bobby- What?
Dean- It's a spirit.
Sam- So now we need to figure out who this guy is and-
Bobby- Are you sure it's a spirit and not just a nosy neighbor?
Dean- Well I thought the same thing at first, then I noticed in the other photos that there was a figure standing in the background. It's the same guy, but this picture was the clearest.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Back in Watseka, Alex and Cody finished the movie an hour ago. They were hanging out in the living room, while Alex's dad was asleep in his room.
Cody- I should get going. My Mom's gonna kill me if I break curfew again.
Alex- Yeah. Ok.
Cody- *Standing by the door* I'll talk to ya later. Let me know how it turns out.
Alex- I will. Bye.
Cody- Bye.
She waved good bye and closed the door behind her. Alex went through the dinning and passed her pill and water. She backed up and looked at them. The pain kicked in during the movie, but Alex didn't want to say anything. So she picked up the pill and put it on her tongue, then drank the water to wash it down. She was getting ready for bed in the spare bedroom, when she started to feel a little tired.
Alex- *Thinking to herself* Must be the pain meds.
Her eye lids were getting heavy and she was starting to slow down. She got up enough strength to pull herself onto the bed. She was so tired, that she didn't even bother to change into her pajamas. Before she drifted off, she heard the neighbor's dog barking through the night. Then she heard lite foot steps coming into her room. She knew that it was her dad coming in to make sure that she got into bed ok, so she turned to face him.
Danny- Remeber me?
Alex tried to call for help, but the urge to sleep took over her.
Danny- Shhhhhhhhh. Lights out princess.
The last thing she saw was Danny coming over to her bedside.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Sam- Well that should make the search go a little faster.
Bobby- I'll go get a list of people that live on this lake.
Bobby walked over to the table and started sifting through papers.
Dean- Good. The sooner we finish this thing. The sooner we get to go back to Watseka to talk to Alex.
Sam- Dean.
Dean- What? *Knowing what his brother was going to say*
Sam- She's not gonna want to talk any time soon. She's probably depressed after everything that's happend in the last couple of months.
Dean- Alright, fine. We'll wait a couple of days to tell her. We should at least check up on her though.
Sam- We will, after this hunt.
Bobby- Uhh...Can we focus on hunting this guy down first?
Dean- Yeah. Sorry.
Bobby- What's so important about this girl any way?
Sam- Well. We just...Ahh...found out.....*Holding his head* AGHH!
Sam fell to the ground and Dean ran over to his side. Bobby stopped what he was doing and walked over to them.
Dean- Sam?! *Hands on his brother's shoulders*
Bobby- You know. Normally I wouldn't be askin' for your help on this, but I've only got-

TPONTP PART 2 CHAPTER 2!
Dean and Sam had come face to face with a deer. It was just sitting there and staring at them, motionless.
Dean- *Annoyed* What's he doin'?
Sam- *Calmly* I don't know.
Dean- Why doesn't he move?
Sam- Because it's a deer and that's what they do.....Stare at people.
Dean- *Yelling at the deer* Come on! Move already!
Sam- You can't just make a deer move, Dean!
Dean- Why not?! It's in my way! I don't see a stop sign!
Sam- Yes there was!
Dean- *Confused* What?!
Sam- Yeah! There was a deer crossing sign a few miles back.
Dean- Well why didn't it cross back there?
Sam- Dean! It's a deer! They can't read! That sign was a warning that deer are in the woods and can cross the road at any time!
Dean- That's it. I'm honking the horn. *Ready to hit the horn*
Sam- DEAN!
The deer suddenly looked away from the car and ran back into the woods.
Dean- *Laughing* You scared it away!
Sam- Did not!
Dean- Whatever.*Continues to drive down the road* So, where's the next turn?
Sam- Right up ahead.
Dean- *Pointing at Sam's window* Sam!
While Sam was looking out the window, Dean stole his candy bar and ate it.
Dean- *laughing* Man, that was way too easy!
Sam- *Realizing what happend* Will you grow up?
Dean- *While eating* Will you shut up?
Dean made the turn and they were driving down a narrow gravel road, that was wide enough for one car. They then turned left into the driveway of a log cabin. Dean slowly drove down the hill towards the house and parked his car. They pulled their stuff out of the trunk and knocked on the door to the cabin. Bobby answered the door and let them in right away.

Back in Watseka Alex was sitting in her living thinking about the past few days. Alex's dad was making dinner for the two of them. He felt bad, because there wasn't much he could do, so he made her favorite meal. Normally the house was quiet, but tonight it was an awkward silence.
Dad- Dinners ready! *Yelling into the living room*
Alex- *Wheeling into the dinning room*
She was clearly depressed, by the look on her face. Ever since the doctor took the tape off of her mouth, she was quiet. The feeling of loneliness was thrown upon her. How was she supposed to move on, when she knew it was all her fault? Nobody understood what it was like. There was just two friends left in her life, Cody and Brad. There's also Sam and Dean, but she didn't know anything about them.
Dad- *Noticing that his daughter wasn't eating* Aren't you going to eat?
Alex- *Slowly picking up her fork and began eating*
Dad- Cody called earlier. *He waited for a response, but didn't get one* She's going to come over tonight. She said that she rented a movie, for you guys to watch.
Alex- *Still not answering her dad*
Her face was expressionless and she was barely eating anything.
Dad- Alex...I can't even begin to........If you ever want to talk about it...I'll listen.
Alex- *She stopped eating and nodded her head*
Her dad was releaved, because she finally answered him. It was just a nod, but it was better than nothing. He gave her a soft smile, then they finished the rest of their meal in complete silence.
Dad- It's time for your pain medication.
He grabbed her pills that were sitting on the counter, and took out one pill. He put it down in front of her and got her a glass of water.
Alex- *Staring at the pill and water*
Dad- Alex, you need to take them.
Alex- *Looking away*
Dad- Please? It'll help with the pain.
Alex- *Shaking her head*
Dad- Ale-
There was a knock at their front door. He opened the door to let Cody in.
Dad- *Yelling to Alex from the front hallway* Alex, Cody's here!
Cody- *Walking into the dinning room* Hey Alex. I brought us a funny movie to watch.
Dad- *Talking to Cody* I'm gonna go do the dishes. I'll be in my office later if you guys need anything.
Cody- Okey dokey. *Turning towards Alex* So, do you want to go into the living room?
Alex- *Nodding her head and going into the living room*
Cody- *Following Alex* Hey, I had a question for ya!
Alex- Hmm?
Cody- Did you think that cop was cute? The one that was at my house.
Alex- *Stopping in the living room and raising an eyebrow at Cody*
Cody- What?! I thought he was! Didn't you?
Alex- He's my cousin Cody.
Cody- Sweet! He's allllllll mine!
Alex shook her head and parked her chair next to the couch. Cody turned the tv on, and changed the channel from the news to watch the movie.

TPONTP PART 2 CHAPTER 1!
Spider Lake, Wisconsin; June 9th 2006
There was a light breeze on this chilly summer night. The moon lit up the sky and was reflecting on the surface of the calm waters of the lake. The only noises to be heard were the sounds of crickets chirping in the night.
larry was a fifty three year old man that loved to go out fishing. He had just bought a house by the lake a few months ago for him and his dog Rufus. Larry decided to go out fishing the night before the big fishing tournament. He grabbed his gear and chained Rufus up outside while he was gone. The motor of his boat rumbled as he started it up. He drove around the lake cutting through the calm water, casting off small waves behind his boat. The breeze was blowing through his short greying brown hair. Once he found the perfect spot to fish, he stopped his boat. Grabbing his fishing pole with his lucky lure on it, he walked to the front of the boat. He swung back the pole and whiped it forward releasing the line. The whisping sound traveling off into the distance as the line was cutting through the night air. Then he heard the light splash of the lure making contact with the water. Just plopping in and slowly sinking to the bottom of the lake. Before it could reach the bottom, he started to reel in the line. Not too slow that it would get snagged on weeds, but slow enough to attract the fish attention. The lure made it back to the pole with out any fish, so he casted it out again. All was quiet and he patiently repeated this prossess, for it calmed him down. He was reeling in his ump-teenth cast and felt a light tug on the line, then another. The tention of the line let him know that he finally caught a fish. He reeled it in carefully, so he wouldn't break the line. The fish surfaced as it got closer to the boat and was putting up a struggle. When the fish was by the boat, Larry reached down and pulled the fish onto the boat. He was satisfied with his catch, and put it in a bucket filled with lake water. He was getting ready to cast his line out again, but the boat started to rock back and forth. He figured it was the fish hitting the bottom of his boat. There was a flashlight on his council, that he used to see in the water. He picked up the light and walked over to the edge of the boat and shined the light into the water. Unfortunatly the water wasn't clear, so he could only see a few feet down. He then saw the largest bass that he'd ever seen before. The boat started to rock some more, so he turned around to get his pole and saw a person standing right in front of him. The presence startled him causing him to trip and fall to the floor of the boat. He looked up and yelled, but it only lasted for a few seconds.
The next morning thirty seven year old Jason had just finished his breakfast, when he heard his neighbor's dog barking. He walked over to the window in his kitchen and saw that the dog was barking at something by the lake. Jason walked outside and over by the dog to pet him.
Jason- Hey Rufus! Have you been out here all night? *Petting the dog*
The dog started to wimper and Jason turned around to see what was wrong. Larry's boat drifted onto the shore of the lake between their properties. Jason Noticed that Larry's car was still in his gravel drive way on a work day. He slowly walked down to the shore and saw flies swarming around the boat. There was a strange smell in the air, that got stronger the closer he got to the boat. Jason looked into the boat, turned around and threw up his breakfast. He then ran to the house to call the cops. Rufus sat there in his yard howling up at clouds. He was now a lost puppy, without his owner.

June 8,2007
The Impala was driving down an empty road. The sky was a little cloudy and the sun was hidden behind some of the clouds. Trees were passing by the windows and the road was like a rollercoaster. It went up and down, and had turns every which way.
Dean- This isn't right.
Sam- *Looking at a map* What?
Dean- We should have stayed in Watseka and told Alex the truth.
Sam- *Looking over to Dean* That's not any of our business! We just happend to stumble opon that information! *Looking back at the map* Besides, Bobby needs our help.
Dean- Sam, I'm telling you! I think we should have stayed with Alex to tell her the truth about the necklace and her birthday.
Sam- Dean. For the last time, I'm telling YOU! Bobby needed our help. You know just as well as I do that saving people is more important than telling Alex....that.
Dean- It's not right to keep it from her, Sam! She should know! I would want to know if I was in her spot!
Sam- Even after everyone that you cared about was murdered by a guy that you thought was your friend?
Dean- I understand that it's not the best time to bring it up, but if it's going to protect her then I think it might be a good idea to tell her.
Sam- I'll tell you what. Once we're done helping Bobby, we can drive back to Watseka and tell her.
Dean- Fine.
Sam- Of course that means you'll have to go through Alex's dad.
Dean- I can't believe he called Dad a bad parent, when he's the one keeping a secret from his daughter.
Sam- That's not exactly something you WANT to tell your kids.
Dean- *Sighing* I guess your right.
Sam- See? I'm always right.
Dean- What ever you say geek boy.
Sam just rolled his eyes went back to looking at the map.
Dean- So, what exactly did Bobby say about this hunt?
Sam- Apperently once every year on June tenth, a boat is found floating on shore of Spider Lake and the owner is dismembered. It started three years ago.
Dean- So we just gotta find out what's going on before the tenth, and stop it from happening again. Sounds simple enough.
Sam- Dean. it's the eigth! We have a exactly fourty eight hours to stop this thing!
Dean- Is it ever simple?
Sam- Make a left up ahead.
Dean- So why does Bobby need our help?
Sam- He's not sure what's the cause of the killings, because so far there hasn't been any witnesses.
Dean- So let me get this straight! We have forty eight hours to figure out what's killing these people and stop it from happening?!
Sam- And if we mess up, somebody else dies and we have to wait a year to try again.
Dean- That's just.....super.
Dean made the left turn onto a gravel road. The rocks were being kicked up under the tires as they drove down the road.
Dean- Dude, where's the civilization? I havn't seen a single house for the past hour!
Sam- Maybe they heard that you were coming to town.
Dean- Is that suposed to be funny?
Sam- Hey! I can be funny! Remember the time I super-glued your hand to your beer bottle?
Dean- That wasn't funny! That was very painful! How far away is this place that Bobby told us to meet him at any way?
Sam- *Laughing* It should be just a few more miles right up this road.
Dean- Seriously! Where are-WHOA!!
Dean Slammed his brakes on the gravel road and the car skidded before coming to a stop. Sam and Dean were staring out the window at what was blocking their path.

TPONTP CHAPTER 18!
Dean dropped down to the ground with Alex in his arms. He was hunching over Alex trying to protect her the best he could. When it was all over he looked up to see that Danny was laying on the ground. The rain was splashing down on his motionless body. Dean was looking around confused, then he saw Sam with a gun in his hand.
Sam- You couldn't wait for me to park the car?
Dean- Sam? Man that was perfect timing. *Resting Alex on the ground and sitting down* If you shot him a second later, we'd both be dead.
Sam walked over to Dean and Alex. He looked at Alex's car crunched and smashed up against a tree. The tires were still spinning as the rain poured down. He saw Alex covered in her own blood and that awful gash in her face.
Sam- You didn't get hit did you?
Dean- What are you talking about? Danny was fifteen feet away from us, when you shot at him.
Sam- Yeah, and then he shot his gun!
Dean- He what?
Sam- Didn't you hear the second shot?
Dean- I thought that was you?*Sam shook his head* Oh. Well at least no one got hurt.
Sam- *Standing next to Dean and Alex* Dean, your bleeding! *Pointing to his right arm*
Dean- *Looking at his arm* I guess somebody did get hurt. Well it's not that bad. He only nicked me.
Alex tugged on Dean's shirt, shivering from the rain.
Dean- *Looking down at her* What?
Alex- *Pointing to her left leg*
Her knee was bleeding on both sides. Now Sam was crouched down next to Dean to get a better look at Alex's leg.
Sam- The bullet must have went through her knee and hit your arm.
Alex- I'm c-col...*Whimpering in pain*
Sam- Shhhhh. Don't talk. Just take it easy, alright? Here.*Sam took off his jacket and wrapped it around her as a blanket*
Alex was wearing shorts and a t-shirt, without a jacket on. Her whole body was shaking and the fact that she was loosing a lot of blood didn't help either. The jacket made her a little warmer, but not by much. At least it was blocking the rain from falling on her, keeping her dry.
Dean- Lets get out of here.
Dean walked over to Danny's dead body and started kicking it.
Sam gently and slowly picked up Alex. When he stood up, he noticed Dean kicking the body.
Sam- *Raised eyebrow* What are you doing?
Dean quickly turned around to face Sam and Alex. They were staring at him with confused expressions on their faces.
Dean- I was just...uh...making sure that he really is dead. *Then he grinned*
Sam just laughed and they started to climb up the hill. Every time Sam looked down at Alex he would notice more cuts and scratches. They were on her arms, legs, neck, and head. The rain was still coming down with the occasional crash of thunder and strike of lightning. Sam's hair was sticking to his face dripping on top of his coat that covered Alex. The once spiked hair on Dean's head was now flat. He was holding his arm to try and stop the bleeding. They all got to the top of the hill and crossed the road over to the Impala. Dean helped Sam climb into the back seat with Alex on his lap. After they got in he closed the door and got into the car. He checked his cell phone, which still didn't have a signal. He started up the car to drive to the hospital.
Alex- *Whispering* The hos..pital..w-was empty.
Sam- *Quietly* What?
Alex- N-no one w-was there.
Dean- *Looking in his mirror at Alex and Sam* Are you sure? *She nodded her head* I'll call 911 when I get reception.
The drive was quiet and seemed to take forever. Dean didn't turn on any music and the pain from the gash in Alex's mouth, prevented her from talking. Sam was trying to keep pressure on Alex's knee and face.
They finally reached a point where Dean could call 911. They had to send her to a different hospital, because a lot of the employees were injured and needed to be treated. Dean explained what happened and they sent a helicopter to their location. They had to wait in the parking lot of a small store called Fuzzy's. There was a large field next to it, in which the helicopter could land in.
Alex started to fall asleep, but she had to stay awake. Sam would give her a little shake whenever she closed her eyes. Alex tried her hardest, but the urge to sleep took over and she was out. Sam tried to wake her up, but it was hopeless.
When the helicopter arrived, they patched up Dean and took Alex to a hospital in Chicago. The guys watched the helicopter take off, then they drove to the hospital.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Alex woke up to a steady beeping noise. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around. Everything was white and a light blue, even her clothes. She tried to move, but she couldn't. The beeping started to get faster and she turned her head to find the source. It was a heart monitor, just like the one that had flat lined when Mitchy died. Alex sat up and found out that her knee was in a cast with most of her leg. She tried to call for some help to get answers, but her mouth wouldn't open. She lifted up her bandaged hand and felt tape over her mouth, then she felt the stitches in her cheek. The more she tried to get answers the more injuries she found. She looked around frantically, then noticed that some one else was in the room. It was Dean, sleeping in a chair next to her bed. She saw a tissue box sitting on the table next to her bed. She picked it up and threw it at Dean's head. He quickly bolted his head and looked around the room to see who threw it at him.
Dean- I'm awake I swear! *He noticed that Alex was awake* Hey, your awake....and probably wondering where you are and what's wrong with you. *Alex nodded her head* Well your at a hospital in Chicago. As far as your injuries....Your knee's broken and your going to be in a wheelchair for a few weeks. They taped your mouth shut, so you wouldn't rip open the stitches. Oh! and your middle finger is broken on your right hand. Besides that, the rest of you body is covered in scratches and bruises. Some are worse than others.
Dean- *Noticing Alex looking around the room* Sam went to take a walk and your dad should be her any minute now.
Alex tried to take it all in, but it was too much to handle. She was in a car crash and got shot at by a psycho killer. The thought of it all made her want to cry, but she was tired of crying. There was a knock on the door and Sam came into the room, He looked at the bed and saw that Alex was awake.
Sam- Hey. How are you feelin'?
Alex- *Giving Sam a 'How do you think I'm feeling' kinda look*
Sam- *Smiling* Right. Dumb question.
Dean- Even I knew not to ask that.
The door suddenly swung open, and everyone turned towards the door. Alex's dad came running over to her side and gave her a hug.
Dad- I got here as soon as i found out. *He noticed Sam and Dean* Do I....know you from some where?
Sam and Dean looked at each other worried.
Dad- I do! Get out of here before I call security!
Sam- Alright. We're leaving. *Sam started walking to the door*
Dean- *Whispering to Sam* We should tell her about the necklace first.
Sam- *Whispering* Dean! I really don't think that this is the time for that.
Dean- If we don't tell her now, she may never find out!
Dad- Find out about what?
They turned and looked at Alex's dad. He looked irritated at Dean and Alex had a look of confusion on her face.
Dean- We know what your hiding from your daughter! She should know the truth! If you don't tell her, I will!
Dad- Fine, but your father and I had a deal!
Sam and Dean- What?! *Alex would have joined them, but she couldn't talk*
Dad- *Sighing and facing Alex* Alex.....Sam and Dean are your cousins.
Sam and Dean looked at each other wide eyed.
Dean- *Whispering to Sam* That's not the secret!
Sam- *Whispering back* I know.
Alex was in shock, Why would he hide this from her?
Dad- i never told you about them, because their dad and I had a huge fight after Mary, died. We had a deal that they would never come near us, and I would never criticise his parenting skills. *Turning back to the guys* So a deals a deal! Now leave!
Sam and Dean couldn't believe their ears. He was their uncle and Alex was their cousin. Dean wanted to tell the guy off about him questioning john's parenting skills, but Sam prevented him from doing so. They said their goodbyes and left the hospital. Dean drove them back to Sparky's to pack up their things and leave town. They wanted to stay and explain the truth to Alex and get to know her better, but they had gotten a phone call from Bobby. He needed their help on a case. They got into the car and drove off to meet up with Bobby in Wisconsin. It was still raining and gloomy outside, so Dean put a cassette in to relax and lighten up the mood.
Dean- Hey Sam?
Sam- Yeah?
Dean- You and Alex really are related. You both got hit by trucks. *He smiled at Sam and turned the music up louder*
Sam watched as the small town of Watseka slowly faded off into the distance in his mirror.
TO BE CONTINUED...
