TPONTP CHAPTER 17!

The rain was pouring down on the road, making things even more difficult on Alex. She had so many emotions build up inside of her, but rage was taking over.
Alex- BACK OFF AND LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
To her surprise the truck did back off, only to get a running start to hit her again.
*CRUNCH*
Alex was getting furious at this point. She wanted this to end, and be a bad memory.

Alex- BAC................................................
Dean looked back at his phone, and it read no signal.
Dean- Sam?! Step on it!
Sam knew that Dean meant business now, so he hit the gas as hard as could. Something was wrong, and all they could do was drive.

Alex's heart sunk, when she saw that she had no reception. The only life line that she had was gone. All of her hope was draining out of her, leaving her with more rage than before.
Alex- STOP FOLLOWING ME!!!
*CRUNCH*
Alex- I GET IT!! I SHOULDN'T HAVE SAID ANYTHING!! IT'S ALL MY FAULT!! THERE ARE YOU HAPPY?!
Tears were streaming down her face, mixing with the blood from her cut.
*CRUNCH*
This was getting old real fast, and he wasn't about to give up. The truck's horn was piercing through her, vibrating her rib cage. She could barely see the road any more. Then out of nowhere lighting struck down, illuminating every rain drop in front of her, reflecting into her eyes. She wanted to hit the breaks and end all of it, right then and there. Something buried under all of the anger, fear, and pain, told her not to, and that she had to keep driving. She was a fighter and couldn't give up, so she pressed even harder on the gas. The lights were dimming and the hope slowly started to come back. Then her hope started to slip through her fingers as she looked in her mirror. The truck gained enough speed to catch up with her and fast. It was about to hit her again, but it backed off.
Alex- *to herself* What's he doing?
The truck did it again, and backed off even further. He was teasing her and building up her fear. Not only was it working, but Alex was now getting worried. He could strike her at any moment and there would be nothing she could do about it. Through all of the rain, Alex caught a glimpse of two headlights in the distance.

Sam was driving as fast as he could, while Dean kept checking for a signal. Dean let out a heavy sigh and looked up.
Dean- Hey! Do you see that? *Pointing to two headlights off in the distance*
Sam- Yeah! Do you think it's Alex?
Dean- It has to be her! Look at how close the vehicle behind her is!
They couldn't tell what was behind her, because of it's bright lights. The only thing they could make out was the shadow of Alex. Sam was more determined than ever to get to her on time.

Alex let out a sigh of relief. She looked in her mirror and noticed that the truck backed off and turned off it's headlights.
Alex- Finally!
She started to slow down a bit to pull over, then it happened. The lights came on again, and the truck plowed right into the driver's side of the car.
Alex- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
The crunching of metal and the trucks horn were cutting through the air. Alex let go of the steering wheel at the impact. The car had swerved off the road and into the steep woods. There was a large log that was in her path, and she knew that there was no way of avoiding it. The log got closer and closer. Alex closed her eyes and she felt her head get whipped back and forth. The car flipped over and mud splashed on her windows. She was now going down the hill upside down and backwards. She saw trees flying past her and then noticed the truck was still charging after her. If it hit her now it would be a head on collision, and who knows what would happen to Alex.

Sam and Dean noticed the truck backed off and turned off it's lights.
Dean- *Worried* What's he doing?
Sam- *In disbelief* I think he's giving up!
Dean- Why would he do that?
Sam- Maybe he sees our car and doesn't want any witnesses.
Dean- That's way to-
Dean stopped mid-sentence as he saw the truck pull into their lane.
Dean- S***!
Sam hit the horn repeatedly as a warning to Alex, but it was too late. The truck crashed into her car sending both vehicles into the woods. Their eyes went wide. They were too late. All they could do was watch the Tragedy unfold before their eyes. Before the vehicles slid out of view, the guys saw Alex's car go flying into the air and flip over.
Sam slowed down to park the car, but Dean couldn't wait for him to park. He jumped out of the car and ran across the road. The hill wasn't too steep, but it was steep enough. He started going down the hill, in the pouring rain. He quickened his pace down the slippery hill, as he heard two crashes. He finally saw what was left of Alex's car, but didn't see the truck. The truck had gone down even further then Alex.
Dean- ALEX?!
He ran towards her car. The glass was broken and there was a tree branch through the windshield. Dean quickly crouched down by Alex's shattered window. Everything was covered in mud, rain, and blood.
Dean- *In urgency* Alex? Can you hear me?
Alex- *Groaning in response*
Dean- Thank god.
She turned her head towards him, groaning some more. Just then Dean noticed a large gash in her face. It went from the edge of her mouth to right of her eye in a curve. She tried to say something, but started wincing in pain.
Dean- Shhhhhh. I think it might be best if you don't talk.
Alex- *Nodding her head with tears running up her face*
Dean- How about we get you out of here, huh?
Dean reached up to find the buckle. He put his other arm under Alex so she wouldn't hit her head again. He carefully unbuckled her and slowly pulled her out of the car. Once he got her out of the car, he picked her up in his arms and slowly started to walk back up the hill. The rain was washing away the blood and mud off them.
*Click*
Dean quickly looked to his left and saw Danny. He was covered in blood and holding up a gun. Dean didn't move a muscle.
Dean- I need to get her to a hospital!
Danny- *Grinning* I don't think so!
*BANG*
*BANG*
