Dean starts darting his eyes everywhere to find the little culprit.
Tazz- Yes? *Walking next to the cage*
Dean- What did-
Dean stops himself and plucks Tazz up, with two fingers pinching the back of her shirt.
Dean- What the h*** happend to you?
Tazz had a tail that was swaying back and fourth, along with furry critter ears.
Tazz- It was the glitter. *Dropping her head, with her ears sagging* I feel like one of the Littles.
Dean- Serves you right for touching my car.
Out of anger, Tazz bites down on Dean's finger. After shaking his hand, Dean quickly put Tazz on the dresser, then looked around for something. Looking down on the floor, Dean comes up with a plan. He glances at Tazz with a grin on his face. Suddenly Tazz was picked up, and dumped into something that had a hole in the cieling and smelled like a locker room.
Tazz- Your shoe?!
Dean- My shoe. *Smiling*
Tazz folded her arms and sat down, as Dean started walking. Dean carried the shoe into the living room. When he reached the fireplace mantel, he turned the shoe over and watched Tazz tumble out of it.
Dean- There. Now you're guaranteed to stay out of trouble.
Tazz- Aww! Come on!
Dean- You should have thought about that before you messed with my car.
Dean walks away, ignoring Tazz's whinning. As he's walking his foot hits something. Dean looks down at his foot and sees the mini Impala, then his eyes lead to something in front of the car.
Dean- Oh no.
Laying down, in front of the car was Alex. She was just laying there motionless.
Dean- Alex?
Dean quickly gets down on his hands and knees. Worried that he accidentally hit her when he bumped the car, Dean leans his ear over her small body to see if she's breathing. At first Dean didn't hear anything, so he lowered his ear so it was an inch away from her. Dean suddenly heard a noise, that startled him. Once he realized what it was, he smiled and lifted his head away from Alex. The noise he heard, was the peaceful sound of his cousin snoring.
Dean gently picks Alex up and puts her in the palm of his left hand, so he wouldn't wake her up. As Dean walks to his room, he holds his hand with Alex next to his chest. Dean then remembered what Alex had said about getting crushed and hurt at her size, so he cupped his other hand over her, so she wouldn't fall.
Cami- I swear I didn't do it. I was nowhere near the living roo-
Dean- Shh. It's ok. I know you didn't do it, but I still think you helped Tazz with the hair die. She's too small to do that by herself.
Once in his room, he walks over to his bed and lays Alex down on the pillow. Dean grabs a tissue from the box next to his bed and sits down, to carefully wipe away some of the blood on her forhead. After he cleaned up her wound the best he could, he then ripped off a strip of the tissue. He takes the strip in his right hand, and lifts her head up with his pointer finger on his left hand. Then Dean slids the strip under her head, and slowly pulls away his finger. Now that her head was on the tissue, he tied it lightly around her head, to help stop the bleeding. Once he was all done, Dean turned the light off in the room, and walked back into the kitchen.
Sam- Is Alex ok? I saw you carrying her to your room.
Dean- She's fine. I found her sleeping on the floor, so I put her on my bed.
Sam- I don't really blame her. She's had a long day, and deserves some rest.
Dean- Yeah. It must have worn her out saving your a**.
Sam- I had a plan.
Dean- Oh come on, it's not that bad. She did have a good plan. It may not have gone the way she wanted it to, but you got out alive.
Ellen- Alex saved them?
Dean- Yeah, she did. You should have seen how confident she was about her plan.
Ellen- I bet you're real proud of her. Following the in the family footsteps and all.
Dean- Alex, a hunter? I never really thought about that before.
Sam- I don't know. She seemed a little paniced in the car, like she was having flashbacks.
Dean- You noticed that too huh? *Sitting down* Man, I just wish she would talk to us about it. I mean it's been a month and she hasn't mentioned it once.
Ellen- Her accident?
Dean- Yeah, and her father's death.
Ellen- Sounds a little familiar, Dean. It's not healthy for her to keep it all bottled up, but you can't force her to tell you. The best thing you can do, is make her feel comfortable around you. Especially you. *Pointing to Dean* Sarcasm isn't the best way to get someone to talk. Plus you're pretty intimidating at your size compared to her. If you acted irrational now, she might not forgive you.
Dean and Sam were thinking about Ellen's advice, when Bobby started cryng.
Ellen- Bobby owes me for this. *Walking away*
Dean and Sam were left alone, because Cami had gone into the living to watch some television.
Dean- D*** it. She really is freaked out. Ellen was right. I did act the same way after dad....*Pausing* You know, when we were walking to the orphanage, Alex said that she was scared of me. What if, when I found out about her pregnancy, my reaction scared her?
Sam- You were both under a lot of stress. I'm sure she'll forgive you.
Dean- Maybe.
Sam- Dean. Back at the orphanage, Talia said that she was going to use Alex to kill me.
Dean- Alex would never hurt you, let alone kill you. Why would Talia think that she could get Alex to kill you?
Sam- I don't know, but I think we should keep an eye on Alex, until we get rid of Talia.
Dean- But I just put her on my bed.
Sam- Then go in there and do your research.
Dean- But I just got comfortable.
Sam- Your own comfort or your cousin's safety? No contest Dean.
Dean- I hate it when you're right. Especially when you're tiny.
Dean folded up the laptop and got out of his chair.
Dean- You wanna come incase she wakes up, or do you wanna stay here and hang out with the girls?
Sam- I'll stay here. I don't really feel like moving again. I just got comfortable. *Smiling*
Dean- That's so not funny.
Dean carried the laptop to his room and sat down on the bed. He placed the laptop on his lap, and leaned against the headboard, while he was researching. Every once in a while he would glance down to his right, to check on Alex. After a few hours and no luck, Dean fell asleep next to Alex.
