Dean glanced over at Sam, to see what he thought about letting Alex watch the tape. They both knew what was going to happen to Alex, but she had blacked out before the beating. Of course she had heard of what her back looked like and feel the pain, but she didn't know the severity of the situation.
"Alright." Sam said softly. "You can watch the tape. But if it gets to be too much for you, just let us know and we'll stop the tape."
Alex looked at the television and back to Sam. She nodded her head slowly.
"You know what? I think I'll get some ice for your head before we start it up again. Ok?" Dean waited for an answer, but Alex kept silent. The look on her face was hard for him to read, but it almost looked like she didn't want to be touched. It was as if Alex could not trust him any more, which made Dean feel horrible.
He went into the bathroom and grabbed a small towell. When he came back out he saw Sam giving him a concerned look. Dean knew that Sam could see his guilt and realized why he was doing this for Alex. This was his way of repairing the damage that he caused and trying to make things better.
After Dean had come out of the bathroom, he grabbed the icebucket and scooped out ice onto the towell. When he had enough ice, he tied a knot in the towell. He walked over to Alex and pulled the chair up next to her. Once he was seated, he lightly pressed the cold cloth against Alex's red and purple face. He heard her take in a sharp breath through her teeth, from the pain of the ice pressing against her bruise. "Sorry."
"Ready?" Sam was holding up the remote, with his thumb hovering over the play button.
Alex nodded her head. "Yeah."
Sam pressed play and they all watched what happened next. They saw Alex stand up and face the woman, then suddenly get punched in the face.
As Alex watched her body fall to the ground, she jumped a little. The events of that night were still fuzzy, but now it was all too clear on what had happened. What happened next took Alex by surprise. The woman started kicking her body over and over. She would stomp her boot down on top of Alex's back, then go back to full force kicking.
Sam and Dean watched the terrible beating and felt worse for Alex. Sam glanced at Alex and saw her just staring at the television. He thought for sure that she would have closed her eyes or start to cry, but she wasn't. She didn't show any visible emotion.
After they saw the woman leave, they tried to pause the tape and see if they could get a good look at her face. Unfortunatly the hood was pulled down so far that they could only see her lips. Sam sighed and turned off the tape. He was about to turn off the TV when he noticed there was a special news update. The newscaster was talking about a major car crash that happened not too far from where they were.
"Hey. Check this out." Sam said, getting Dean's and Alex's attention.
They both looked at the car crash on the screen. "Why does that car look familiar to me?" Dean said pointing to a blue Jeep.
"Kyle has a blue Jeep." Alex said with her eyes going wide.
Sam and Dean both looked at Alex. "You sure?" Sam asked worried.
"Yeah, we went on a road trip in it for a whole summer. I know that car like that back of my hand. Why do you ask?"
Sam was silent for a minute and Dean knew that it wasn't good. "Alex...They said that the driver was hospitalized."
After Sam said this, Dean lowered the ice off of Alex's face and they both watched her try to comprehend what had just happened.
"No." Alex said softly. "He's fine. I know it."
"Alex..." Sam tried to comfort her.
"Its not him, Sam." Alex said firmly. "If anyone is going to die, its Morana."
"What?" Sam and Dean said at the same time in shock.
"She's the woman on the tape. The one who ruined my life." Alex explained and paused. "I've been trying to think of what I did wrong that would make her mad at me. Then I realized that I didn't do anything. I did exactly what she told me to do, so it just doesn't make sense on why she would do this."
"I think I know why." Sam said, then looked over to Dean. "You forgot all about that date you two were supposed to go on. And I bet you didn't even reschedual, did you?"
Dean sat there thinking about it for a minute as Sam and Alex waited for a reaction. "So she's a feisty one, huh?" Dean said with a sly smirk.
Sam was annoyed with his brother's light hearted tone. "Dude, can you focus?"
"I am focusing. I was just making a statement, that's all."
"I knew your flirting would get us into trouble one of these days."
Dean turned and glared at Sam. "I can't help that women think I'm attractive."
"I think I'm going to throw up." Alex said with a sigh.
"See? Even Alex thinks you have a problem."
"Her opinion is compromised, because she's related to me." Dean got up to get more fresh ice.
"Uh, guys?" Alex said interupting them. "I was serious. I don't feel too good."
"What's wrong?" Sam asked walking over to Alex.
"Trash can. Now." Alex clentched her mouth shut.
"Dean." Sam pointed to the trash can next to the dresser.
Dean guickly got the bucket and put it in front of Alex, while Sam pulled back her hair for her. Before they could prepare themselves, it was too late. Dean and Sam both looked away feeling very uncomfortable and waited until Alex was done. After Dean came back from placing the bucket outside of the room, Sam got Alex a glass of water.
"I guess you're still not feeling too good, huh?" Sam said while tilting the glass of water for Alex to drink.
Alex shook her head after she was done drinking the water.
Dean looked at Sam, then back to Alex and saw her cut up wrists. "Sam, we need to wrap up her wrists. They're bleeding pretty badly."
After Sam looked over Alex's wrists, he went into his room and found some gauze, medical tape and a pair of sissors in his bag. When he came back he saw Dean getting some fresh ice for the towell.
They were now both sitting down next to Alex. Dean to her right, holding the ice against her cheek, and Sam was sitting in front of her, starting to untie her left wrist. The thick rope fell to the floor and her sleeve fell back over her wrist. Sam rolled up the long, black, sleeve of Alex's shirt to wrap up her wrist.
"Why do these things always happen to me?" Alex said in a soft tone.
Sam stopped wrapping up her wrist and looked at Dean, who glanced back at him. They knew the exact answer, but they couldn't tell her. They wanted to find out more about the curse and a way to break it, with out her knowing.
"I think they happen, because you are a klutz." Dean said with a smirk to lighten up the mood.
"Cody was right." Alex said looking at her wrists. "I do need bubble wrap to protect me." She looked up and smiled.
Sam and Dean couldn't help but laugh at hearing that, and Alex joined them.
"I'm gonna have to agree with Cody on that one." Dean said with a smirk.
Once her wrist was tapped up, Sam pulled her sleeve back down over her wrist. "That should help with the bleeding."
"Thanks." Alex watched as Sam picked the rope back up and start to wrap it around her covered wrist. "What are you doing?" She asked, partially knowing the answer.
After he finished tying her up, he said, "We have to be sure that you won't kill anyone again." Sam then started to untie her other wrist.
Alex silently nodded her head and Sam finished wrapping up her wrist. When he was done, he got another rag to wipe the blood off of her face. Once Alex was cleaned up, Dean started to feed Hana and Sam went on his laptop to do research.
"Hey, Dean?"
"Yeah." Dean said as Hana finally started drinking her milk. She had been stubborn with them for the past four days. It would take them a while before she gave in and drank the milk.
"What was Morana's nationality?" Sam looked up at Dean and stopped typing.
"Um, Slavic." Dean said as he walked over to Sam.
After a couple of minutes, Sam found out what Morana was. "Well that explains a lot."
Dean looked away from Hana and looked at the screen. "What is it?"
"Morana means death in Slavic, and she's a goddess of winter and death. Which explains the odd weather and the body count."
"Something tells me that our date wouldn't have ended the way I thought it would." Dean said as he leaned in closer with Hana in his arms. "Does it say how to kill her?"
"Some people have said that fire might work, but nobody knows for sure."
"Alright, so how are we going to do this?"
"I'm not sure. Morana wasn't at the front desk when I went down there this morning." Sam rested his head on hand trying to think of a plan.
"She told me that she doesn't work on sundays." Dean said, looking at Hana holding onto the bottle that was too big for her hands.
"I take back what I said about your flirting." Sam said, then looked over at Alex. "What are we going to do about her?"
Dean looked over to Alex and sighed. "We're gonna have to lock her up in here with Hana, and salt the doors and windows."
"You're going to leave me here all alone?" Alex asked in surprise.
"I'm gonna have to agree with Alex on this one." Sam said in concern. "What if she turns and breaks loose?"
After finding what he needed from his bag, Dean looked up at Sam. "She won't."

Oh. My. God.
That was Ah-mazing!! Poor Alex! As much as I love Dean (I'm sure she does too) I wouldnt want him to touch me after that. But it was sweet how he tried to make up for it...I don't really think he can...lol...I kinda suspected Morana, I'll be honest. I mean she's always in the lobby, she was pissed at Dean for not going on a date with her. Ok, seriously, who goes that pyscho after getting stood up? He only cancelled cuz he was trying to save people from her!! haha. I'm done ranting about her. What did Dean pull out of his bag?!? WHAT DID HE PULL OUT?!?! lol. Greatest. Update. Can't say ever, cuz you have too may great ones. :D
lol Wow! I think this is your longest post!
I know. I would terrified too. Wonder if she'll ever trust him again...Is that something the writer should be asking? lol
Morana is the goddess of death. Does she really need an excuse to beat somebody up? lol She should have beaten somebody else *coughs*Angela*Coughs*
Aww thank you! :D I'm glad you said that, because I worked on this for like five days. And its not like I took those days off and had writer's block, I just kept changing stuff around and adding more convo. Like when Dean and Sam were arguing about the flirting it was last minute stuff that was written this morning.
Lol. It probably is my longest post
No, I dont think that's something the writer should be asking. lol
I know she is...so she was just looking for an excuse to kill someone? She was like oh...he stood me up...I'm gonna go kill some people and ruin an innocent girl's life. Wait...I can do that no matter what. lol
And yes. Why the heck didn't she beat up Angela? I woulda helped even if she was the goddess of death.
It turned out really well Skippy. :D
lol Oops! I actually kinda had that planned out.
Evil people are just dumb, what can I say? lol And I don't think you'd be the only one helping.
