TPONTP CHAPTER 8!

Sam and Alex were sitting on the beds, watching Maximum Overdrive on cable. Sam was sitting up on the bed closest to the door. Meanwhile Alex was laying on her stomach. She had her arms folded on top of her pillow, with her head resting on her hands. Her ankle was still sore, but she was too distracted to notice. The movie went to a commercial break.
Alex- *Laughing* I thought this was supposed to be a horror movie?
Sam- *Laughing* Hey! I thought it was too.
Alex- Come on! This is a Steven King movie!
Sam- It's definitely got the gore factor.
Alex- Yeah, but not the scare factor! Like a truck could ever run you over on it's own!
Sam- *Putting on a fake smile* Yeah, that's just crazy. Vehicles can't...drive on there own.
Alex- *Sighing* Well at least it has good music.
Sam- *Surprised* You like AC/DC?
Alex- Yeah. I listen to them sometimes. *Turning her head to face Sam* What? Why? Am I not supposed to?
Sam- What?-Oh no! I just...I don't really know a lot of girls your age that listen to that kind of music.
Alex- What did you think I listened to? Pop! That stuff makes me ill just thinking about it.
Sam- *Laughing* Well, just don't throw up. Dean is already worried about you, and he hasn't even seen the blood.
Alex- Ugh, don't remind me. My ankle is still throbbing in pain.
Just then, they hear a knock at the door. Sam gets up and peers through the peep hole in the door. He backs up to open the door for Dean. Dean's hands were filled with a grocery bag.
Dean- Alright, I'm here. Now tell me what happened. *Putting the bag down on the table*
Sam- Relax! She just cut herself shaving.
Alex- Cut myself?! I shaved off my skin and all he had to say was "...Oh..."!
Dean- Oh?! *Facing Sam* What's the matter with you?
Sam- She was in the bathroom alone and came running out screaming.
Dean- Oh. Hey what happened to your other shirt? *Noticing that Sam was only wearing one shirt*
Sam- I used one of the sleeves to tie around her ankle. *Pointing to Alex's foot*
Dean- Alright I got the bandages. *Sitting down next to Alex* How bad is it? Just a little nick?
Alex- I wish.
She rolled on to her right side, to let Dean look at her left ankle. She was now facing Dean and the bathroom. She carefully untied the blood-stained sleeve. When she was done she tossed the sleeve on the floor. Dean noticed the trail of blood on the carpet and he quickly looked at her ankle in shock. There was an inch long cut running up the side of her ankle, that was about half a centimeter wide.
Dean- Yikes. Hey Sam. Can you bring that bag over here for her?
Sam- Yeah.
Sam picked up the bag and walked over to Dean and Alex. He put the bag down next to his brother.
Sam- I'll start cleaning up the floor. *Reaching into the bag trying to find the carpet cleaner, but pulled out a container of salt*
Alex- *Sitting up* Umm, why did buy salt?
Dean- Because Sam likes a lot of salt on his fries. *Grinning*
Sam- What? *Grabbing the carpet cleaner*
Alex- You know, too much salt isn't good for you. You could die of a heart attack.
Dean- *Mumbling* That's not all it can do. *Handing Sam some paper towels*
Alex- Hey, did you go to Gotcha Potcha's?
Dean- Uh yeah. It was the only place that was still open. *Pulling out the bandages, gauze and tape, and handing them to Alex*
Alex- My friend, Mitchy, works the night shifts there. *Starting to tape up her ankle with gauze, because the bandages were too small*
Dean- Maybe I saw her. What does she look like?
Alex- She has shoulder length black hair, and is a little taller than me.
Dean- Yeah, I think she checked me out.
Alex- Oh! She's not a checker.
Sam stopped scrubbing at the floor immediately. Dean was in a daze smiling, until Sam smacked him on his leg.
Dean- *Clearing his throat* Really? My mistake.
Sam shook his head and continued scrubbing. The movie came back on and every one turned their heads, when they heard AC/DC playing.
Dean- You've got to be kidding me! *Laughing* You guys are watching Maximum Overdrive?!
Sam- There was nothing else on.
Alex- Plus I needed a good laugh.
Sam- Whoa, whoa, whoa! Back up a second
Dean- What?
Sam- Dean your making fun of us, when YOU know what the movie is called after watching two seconds of it?!
Dean- What?! It has AC/DC music in it!
Sam- Yeah...sure...whatever you say Dean.
Dean- Just drop it! Ok?
Sam- Or what?
Dean- I'll knock your teeth in Bubba.
Sam- Did you just quote the movie? *Laughing*
Alex- *Laughing* He totally did!
Dean- Next time you can buy your own carpet cleaner and bandages.
Sam- Speaking of which, can you help me clean up the floor Dean? You know, since your just sitting there doing nothing.
Dean- Nah! I'm good.
Then Dean noticed that Alex was too calm about the cut on her ankle, and so did Sam.
Dean- *Serious and suspicious* You know most people would be freaking out if they were you. I mean you did leave a trail of blood.
Alex- Yeah well I'm not like most people.
